Here I am looking after all insurance related affairs of our Radian Group of Companies. Apart from it, I am looking after complete affairs including Finance & Accounts of Radian Logistics & Warehousing Ltd and Radian Transport Ltd. My role involves lot of interaction with bankers, brokers, insurers, internal group company customers as well as external customers. I am involved in project finance activities, tax related matters, internal controls, internal audit and coordinating with regulators, government bodies and statutory auditors, in coordination with our Group Chief Finance Officer.
I was working as Financial Controller of Company, to look after Finance, Account & Co. Secretarial & Compliance Department of our organization. I was managing relationship with Suppliers, Customers, Brokers, Agents, Banks, Auditors, and Tax Authorities is my area of responsibility. I was Managing Debt Collection, Creditors, Preparing Accounts, Finalization of Accounts, Deciding Accounting Policies, Dealing with Banks, Financial Institutes, and Drafting Agreements for approving credits, Coordinating Filing Statutory Returns of Company, Coordinating and attending Board of Directors Meetings, Suggesting Investment Opportunities, and Coordinating with Auditors. I was also doing concurrent audit of operations and finance activities of our Company.
ESTABLISHING OUR NEW BORN COMPANY IN UGANDAN MARKET WITH STRATEGIES AND TACTICS. HIRING NEW STAFF, LOOKING FOR BUSINESS THROUGH BROKERS, AGENTS, AND DIRECT CLIENTS. MANAGE THE COMPANY IN ALL AFFAIRS INCLUDING CLAIMS, UNDERWRITING, FINANCE & ACCOUNTS, POLICY HOLDER SERVICE.
WORKED FOR LIFTING OF BOTH BRANCHES, ARUSHA & MWANZA, AND REVAMPED THESE TWO BRANCHES, BY USING USING THE PR SKILLS. INTRODUCED MANY NEW BROKERS AND ALSO RECRUITED DIRECT SALES FORCE FOR GOOD, PROFITABLE BUSINESS. LEFT JOB FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT.
