JOB TITLE : DESIGN ENGINEER / DESIGN COORDINATOR (CIVIL/MECHANICAL/SURVEYING)

GENERAL SUPPORT SERVICES IN ENGINEERING DESIGN AND DRAFTING:
- Provide Layout / sketches and details 2D&3D and review shop drawings.
- Prepare plans, Profile etc. and also site layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Provide coordinate for etc. building and also elevation for the needs of surveying team.
- Supervise and monitor draftsman for shop drawings both Surveying, Mechanical Piing and Civil.
- Prepare Material Take-off (MTO) and estimate in compliance with the company standard.
- Provide general engineering support services, by preparing detailed layout drawing.
- Supervise and check other works with regards to the drawings, sketches, MTO.
- Act as a resource person with regards to the drawing, also responsible for material required.
- Prepare Site Instruction and Technical Query and other needs of site engineer etc.
- Review and revised drawing as recommendation, site instructions, as-built drawings.
- Coordinates with the work group members in providing efficient and effective drawing service to internal customer and external client and associates.
OTHER WORKS
- Engineering Design Coordinator/ Designer, general supervision of surveying, civil design drafting; design preparation of the works;
- Provide layout both 3D/2D using AutoCAD Civil 3D, also by manual drawing for drafts drawing.
- Provide Site TOPO and surface profile and etc.
- Coordinate from Surveying Department for preparing Site Surface, building coordinate, etc. provide data for Survey DATA surveyor, prepared profile and alignment etc.
- Responsible for MTO and other engineering needs, handles the As-Built plans for mechanical drawings.
- Provides technical support assistance to draftsman in the preparation of drawings.
- Act as resource person in engineering department team.
- Assist site engineer needs with regards to the site project.
- Prepare material request.
- Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer.
GENERAL SUPPORT SERVICES IN CIVIL, ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND DRAFTING:
-Prepare plans/drawings for Grade Beam, building coordinates and site layouts.
-Prepare shop drawings (footings and foundation layout and sections, column details & layout, reinforcement details and bar bending, slab reinforcement details, wall reinforcement details, structural framing plan, beams and girders details and pipe supports.
-Review revised drawing as per QA/QC recommendation and site instructions and as-built drawings.
ISSUANCE OF RFFs, SCR, EDC TRANSMITTAL AND OTHER DOCUMENTS
-Prepare material take-off and transmittals for shop drawing, BBS fabrication and RFF both for shop drawing and bar bending schedule.
-Acts as resource person for drawings and other engineering works.
-Responsible for all drawing transmittal files both for civil, structural and architectural.
-Coordinates with the work group members in providing efficient and effective drawing service to internal customer and external client and associates
Architectural Works
-General supervision of architectural design drafting; design preparation of the architectural finishing works; handles the As-Built plans for civil and architectural designs and drawings
-Provides technical support assistance to draftsman in the preparation of AS-BUILT drawings for civil and architectural
-Provide sketches, layout both 3D/2D using AutoCAD.
-Act as resource person in architectural drawing specially for sub-contractors needs
-Go to site to measure and see some area that need to be as-built (window, louver, granite, and other finishing)
-Provide information for site engineer needs for arch. And civil drawing
GENERAL SUPPORT SERVICES IN MECHANICAL DESIGN AND DRAFTING:
-Prepare Material Take-off (MTO) and estimate in compliance with the international basic standard on piping such as ASTM, ASME, API, other classification and guidelines.
-Provide general engineering support services, by preparing detailed layout drawing of piping / equipment areas of traces lines.
-Prepare a preliminary schematic of Piping and Instrument Diagram (P&ID), detailed isometric drawing for construction, marking isometric drawing by putting spool number, weld, support, fitting, by using AutoCAD/manual drafting.
-Prepare spooling (breaking and dividing isometric drawing into number of spools with the use of AutoCAD and companies program TALISO).
-Check Revision and revise isometric drawing based on site memo, Q.C. memo, VENDOR’s and FCS revision, As-Built Memo.
-Checking pipe support drawing and calculate its surface, length and weight.
-Identify appropriate materials for the piping system such as piping material grade, schedule, corresponding fittings, etc.
-Coordinate with other member of the group and work as one member of the team to provide efficient and effective drawing service to internal customer and external client and associates.
-Responsible of conceptualizing and producing graphic art and visual materials to effectively communicate information for publications, advertising, films, packaging, posters, signs and interactive media such as web sites and CD-ROMs.
-Responsible of rendering and designing of graphics using Photoshop, CorelDraw, Freehand, 3Dmax, Illustrator and other graphics tools to produced the design, also develop graphic element that meet the client’s objectives.
-Prepare sketches, layout and graphic element of the subject to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia and image processing.
-Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic element and content of communication materials.
-Prepare design using AutoCAD/manual drafting, material specification in compliance with the company standard.
-Estimate cost of materials and time to complete the graphic design/project.
-Review and comment on design and on drawing in accordance with the project specification and standards.
-Prepare proper specification of Materials Take-Off (MTO) in compliance with the company standard.
-Has the technical responsibility for interpreting and evaluating with regard to the quality/time completion of the project, supervise and monitor the progress against approved schedule for evaluating changes and taking corrective action when required, also providing technical guidance, and for organizing, executing and coordinating these responsibilities to ensure timely completion that meets project schedule and budget.
-Attained safety seminar as per customer safety rules (PETRON/SHELL) standard.
-Attained Pre-BID as per customer request both indoor/outdoor signage.
-Act as a resource person with regards to the project.
-Responsible for all sketches, layout, and 2D/3D graphic elements for landscape design.
-Produce realistic graphic elements that meet the client’s objectives.
-Estimate cost of materials and consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustration in order to meet their needs.
-Develop graphic element that meet the client’s objectives, prepare sketches, layout and graphic element of the subject to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia and image processing, layout and design software.
-Responsible in preparation of graphic design to establish the overall look, graphic element and content of communication materials in order to meet their needs.

-Develop graphic element that meet the client’s objectives, prepare sketches, layout and graphic element of the subject to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia and image processing, layout and design software.
-Responsible of producing realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations, by hand or using computer assisted design AutoCAD and other traditional software.
-Prepare proper specification of Materials Take-Off (MTO) in compliance with the company standard. Estimate cost of materials and time to complete the graphic design/project.
-Attained safety seminar as per customer safety rules (PETRON/SHELL) standard.
-Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustration in order to meet their needs.
-Review and comment on design and on drawings in accordance with project specification and standards. On assignment to field, support construction in drawing and specification interpretations
- Responsible of design, sketches, graphic element of the subject to be render using traditional tools, AutoCAD, CorelDraw, Photoshop and other tools for rendering.
- Consult with clients to establish the overall look in order to meet the client needs.
- Assist and monitor the quality of the designated project for on time completion of project, also for evaluation of incoming correspondence from the customer with regard to project.
- Act as a resource person with regard of the layout and graphic design of every signage’s.
- Estimate material cost for the designated project.
- Assist the Technical Manager and Team Leader in preparation of design concepts, shop drawing and fabrication details.
-Teach Basic Computer Application
-Teach programming such as Basic programming, DbaseIII+, FoxBase, Foxpro, Turbo Pascal, Turbo C language.
-Responsible of networking and maintaining computer
-Anticipate student question with regards to computer during laboratory hour.
