Responsible for competent advise on multifarious assignments in engineering, planning, project execution, development of an effective asset maintenance management system & implementing Reliability improvement technologies and infrastructural solutions that fully support and benefit Corporate Strategy.

In 2005, I was recruited by Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation - Govt. of UAE to lead the Engineering Division for the 3.2 MTPY Integrated Steel Project in Emirates Steel,

My responsibilities for this project included front - end engineering with detailed contractual work specifications;; Tender assessment; Contract reviews; Design & Layout review, Inspection / surveillance & factory acceptance tests, Environmental Impact Assessment, Development of Raw material Contracts, Maritime logistics & Contract of Affreightment including Material handling/ Jetty development and complete governance of the project from construction through to commissioning & start -up & taking over of Plant Maintenance operations.

Also, involved in the preparation of a bankable feasibility report for 1.2 MTPY HBI plant for QABICO - Qatar Hot Briquetted Iron Company and in the preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of tenders and on- going assistance with the selection of Process technology for the Qatar Steel expansion project for an additional 1MTPY integrated steel production.

etc.
Implemented RCFA, root cause failure analysis programs to enable a Pro- active Maintenance regime..
Deputed on assignments to Kobe Steel - Japan/ BSW- Germany for
Benchmarking study, Performance metrics, identifying best practices & areas of improvement through "Gap Analysis", and developing feasible
way-forward proposals for plant performance.

Tribology & Lubricant Management: Rationalization of multi- Lubricant Grades in QASCO.

Project Engineering activity: Responsible for successful completion of all phases of Engineering & Commissioning .of Expansion Projects viz.;
o 0.4 MTPY High Speed Finishing Bar Mill with M/S. SMS
Demag
o 150 T Electric Arc Furnace with M/S Mannesman Demag
o Continuous Casting m/c with M/S Mitsubishi - Japan.
