Conduct a thorough review and revision of company policies to ensure alignment with
labor laws, industry standards, and organizational goals. This includes policies on
attendance, disciplinary actions, salary disclosures, employee benefits, and workplace
conduct.
Oversee the handling of employee cases, from issuing written warnings to conducting
formal investigations. This includes preparing charge sheets or show-cause notices,
facilitating hearings, evaluating evidence, and making final decisions in compliance with
due process.
Manage and support both retail and in-house employees, ensuring fair and consistent
implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to each workforce segment.
Lead a team of three HR personnel: two HR assistants handling general HR functions and
one HR assistant dedicated to retail operations, ensuring efficient workforce management
and compliance across different employment setups.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing,
screening, interviewing, and extending job offers. Facilitate onboarding for both direct
employees and retail staff, ensuring smooth integration through orientation and training
programs.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries while maintaining
confidentiality. Address employee relations issues, particularly among service crews, and
provide guidance to employees and operations managers as needed.
Support performance management by assisting in goal setting, performance evaluations,
and development planning. Offer guidance to managers on performance-related concerns
and help resolve issues effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Prepare reports
and documentation to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Oversee payroll-related functions, including payroll computation, pay slip verification,
payroll register reviews, and monitoring bank files managed by four payroll accountants.
Ensure compliance with mandatory government contributions and deductions.
Assist employees with HMO benefits, including enrollment, updates, and inquiries.
Organize and coordinate training and development programs by identifying training needs,
scheduling sessions, and tracking employee participation.
Manage employee engagement initiatives, including regularization, promotions, (PAM),
and special events such as the Christmas Party, Office Day for Promodisers, Kick-off
meetings, and Orientation programs.
