I. Started to Set up Marib Logistics department from Zero, and by now already 06 units very well-functioning “supply chain, Procurement, Warehousing, Fleet, Transportation, Air Operations”.
II. Set up, Adapts and Maintains infrastructure according to needs, in collaboration with the Logistics Country Coordinator.
III. Responsible for implementing logistics procedure on-site in accordance with the logistics strategy for the country and financial procedures.
IV. Oversees and coordinates statistical reporting, queries and inventories.
V. Manages supply-chain requests and ensures they are treated in timely fashion, supervises customer desk service and carries out related reporting. Ensures collaborative demand planning is carried out with other departments; ensures information is shared with the delegation and the Logistics Country Coordinator.
VI. Plans and oversees procurement activities (Purchase orders, supplier files, sourcing, etc.).
VII. Set up, operates and manages a warehouse and manages stock inventory.
VIII. In charge of fleet management, transport and distribution activities.
IX. Follow up the supply pipeline with the delegation, the Logistics Support Centre and/or headquarters, including for import-export activities where necessary.
X. In charge of capacity-building and HR-related matters for logistics.
XI. In charge of air operations activities at airports.
XII. Responsible for manages finances for the cost center(s) under their responsibility.
I. In charge of the movement’s unit, organizes, prioritizes and coordinate the unit’s activity for all planned movements (air, road and sea)
II. Participating with Logistics Coordinator in Budget Preparations for Air Operations in Yemen.
III. Manages the team members under direct supervision.
IV. Ensure a good information flow with other departments.
V. Ensures all the documents related to movements are generated and submitted to relevant authorities in a timely and organized fashion
VI. Anticipates and deals with operational issues (cancellations, diversions, delays).
VII. Supervise concerned AirOps/movements Officer for ground operations within Sanaa International Airport and liaise with airport authorities, Service providers for the good coordination, and workflow related to the needs of ICRC aircrafts.
VIII. Supervise Concerned AirOps/Movements officer on submitting the assigned movements (Road, Air, Sea)
IX. Submits all flight requests to Yemen Civil aviation & Saudi Led Coalition
X. Close coordination of all Sub-delegations in Yemen for better staff & cargo movements.
XI. Submits all Staff field & Cargo movements to Saudi Led Coalition
XII. Direct Contact with Saudi Led Coalition for to ensure a good workflow of Air Operations, staff & cargo movements.
XIII. Work Side-by-Side with ICRC Management in Yemen for special requests to deal with Saudi Led Coalition.
XIV. Work on Charted Cargo & Passengers flights with Yemen Authorities & Saudi Led Coalition.
XV. Field Assessments on Yemen Airports when needed for special operations or opening a new station.
XVI. Supervise Air Operations in Aden International airport & visits when needed.
XVII. Supervise & Handle Air Operation in Seiyun International Airport.
i. Responsible for all ground operations within the Sana'a Airport concerning ICRC Aircrafts (RED 360 & Charters).
ii. Liaises with Airport authorities, service providers and Aircraft's crew for the good coordination and workflow related to the needs of ICRC Aircrafts.
iii. Coordinates with the Sana'a ICRC Import/Export Department. In addition, Customs Clearance agent for the handling and expedition of outgoing / incoming Cargo and ICRC diplomatic Pouch either via RED or charter at Sana'a Airport.
iv. Direct communication with the Air Operations team in Yemen Support Office in Djibouti for the synchronization of passenger and cargo Manifests (ICRC, MSF) and flight ERT/ETD.
v. Informs outgoing passenger on departure time, assemble and verify vehicles beforehand with car dispatcher, follows the Delegation-Airport routing as per Security rules, assist on the dispatch and reception of passenger out/into the Sana'a Airport.
vi. Edit prints and submits to Sana'a Radio and Yemeni authorities the required documents to obtain the flight clearance (under the verification of the Movement Officer).
vii. Ensures that passenger travelling into/out of Sana'a with MSF/UNHAS flights are received/dispatched accordingly.
viii. Reports to the Air Operation Manager any suggestions, recommendations and complaints related to the ground operations and security procedures.
ix. Preparation of all clearance notifications for ICRC RED 360(Saudi Led Coalition, Yemeni Civil Aviation)
x. Preparation of all clearance notifications for all ground movements (Cargo, ICRC Field Trips).
xi. Clearing All Invoices for ICRC flights.
i. Ticketing and reservations.
ii. Managing agents issues.
iii. UAE visa issuance.
iv. Market Plans.
v. Prepare sales reports.
i. Dealing, visiting, and travelling to foreign companies abroad.
