Overall responsibility and assist finance manager / chief accountant regarding day-to-day finance functions as below,
Oversee and manage daily operation of finance department.
- Close month end, year-end books.
- Supervise accounts receivable and payable function.
- General ledger reconciliations.
- Review payroll calculation, settlements and pass relevant entries.
Manage fixed assets transactions and maintain fixed asset register.
Treasury management and prepare bank reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly financial reports.
Provide timely financial analysis reports to higher management.
Liaising with external and internal auditors
Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Overall responsibility and assist the head of finance regarding day-to-day finance functions as below,
- Preparation of Monthly management accounts, relevant reporting, and financial reports for Management.
- Liaising with external and internal auditors
- Identification of issues, and drawbacks in the financial reporting processes and make recommendations.
- Identification of issues, and drawbacks in the internal control systems, and internal business processes and make recommendations.
- Budgeting and controlling.
- Planning assignments and ensuring completion within stipulated deadlines.
- Direction and assisting the work of subordinates to achieve set goals.
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with the SLFRS / LKAS.
- Preparation of reports, and analysis of financial statements using different financial analyzing techniques.
- Identification, evaluation & measurement of the operating effectiveness of various processes / internal controls prevalent in an organization.
• Assist in executing audit programs, assurance engagements and agreed upon procedures.
