Overall responsible for the asphalt plant operation and raw material s management, approval, and procurement.
Overall responsible for the supervision of the pavement team and asphalt laying.
Overall responsible for the supply projects and clients.
Coordinate wi the clients for supply projects lookahead quantity and payment.
Overall responsible for submittals ( pre-qualification, material, and technical ) including securing approvals from clients and consultants.
Follow up on payment collection .
Set short and long-term targets for the asphalt plants.
Revi ew and set direct sales strategies to improve the cash flow.
Overall responsible for the management of the Plant and Laboratories QNQC-related activities.
Overall responsible for developing and designing the job mix formula in line with QCS 2014 and PWA Guide.
Review and approve Inspection & Test Plan ( ITP) for the Laboratory and Plant operations.
Approve Material Acceptance, Method Statement, and Inspection & Test Plan ( ITP) in line with the most recent revision of Qatar Construction
Standards and project specifications.
Evaluate and approve material source and supplier.
Identify potential causes of non-conformities and take necessary corrective and preventive actions to remove the cause.
Responsible for the closure of non-conformity and
resumption of non-conforming works.
Invest in staff and technology to expand the line of products.
A plant expert/quality assurance auditor at ANAS S.p.A, an Italian-government owned company specialized in motorway construction and maintenance.
At ANAS S.p.A, we work as quality assurance experts for the Qatari Public Works Authority (PWA) /Ashghal. We have been assigned to check the quality of production at approximately 40 asphalt plants that supply the Qatari government's infrastructure projects.
Our work requires engineering and technical skills merged with a high level of accuracy and attention to details which my previous experiences and roles in asphalt plants have assisted me in gaining over the years; awareness of all the details I need to check for when running a quality assurance check.
- Responsible for maintaining the asphalt plant and all its related equipment. Employees, Maintenance, spare parts, and all related activities.
- Responsible for: calibration, adjustments, follows up Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
- Coordinating with suppliers, requesting the appropriate materials as per job mix design, archiving all data and sending reports to the concerned Departments.
