Recruited by Managing Director nuclear Business to setting up supply chain from scratch for execution of supply and services of Conventional Island for nuclear plants in India and with additional responsibility to Setting up Supply chain for Solar Thermal Power generation business (CSP)

 Leading Supply Chain for Nuclear business targeting localization & supplier development for large EPC NPP capacity (EPR 6 x1750 MW) & 2x700 MW PHWR in India.

 Team member for management for negotiation for supply of Conventional Island (CI) for Jaitapur project (2x1750 MW) to NPCIL. Conventional Island turnkey contract offer from Alstom is valued at about $1.3 billion.

 Team member for management in formation of tripartite Joint Venture (JVC) in India between NPCIL, Alstom & BHEL to cater to future Conventional Island for 700 MW PHWRs. JVC could also be involved in supply & services of imported Light water Reactor (LWR) with capacity ranging from 1200 MW to 1500 MW unit size.

 Team member for management of 2 large order worth 280 million euro each to supply Turbine Generator Package (TGP) for Kakrapar (2x700 MW) and Rawatbhata (2x700 MW) NPP of NPCIL. Supply & services including civil works for two projects are under implementation at both locations. Alstom share is between 100-120 million Euros in each of these contracts.

 Establishing Supply chain for CSP Solar thermal Business with sourcing strategy, localization & Cost Investigation are the Key target to establish Alstom foot print in India in Solar market. Developing local supply chain, local manufacturing for CSP plants with thermal storage. Establishing target cost for 1x150 MW CSP Solar with 6 hrs storage capacity in India.

 Working along with Country Scientific Collaborator on science collaboration for MOU between Alstom & Indo French Center for Promotion of Advanced Research (IFPCAR)/CEFIPRA in areas Cyber-security & cryptology, robotics & automation, smart manufacturing, energy storage technology, material etc. Alstom will part-fund research projects in these areas.

Selected by Vice President Supply chain & Vice President nuclear business to work on UK Nuclear Power Project Hinckley Point C (2x1750 MW), based in Alstom HQ in Paris as an Expat.

 Responsible for project procurement for EPC Conventional Island (Turbine Island)
 Additionally responsible for procurement for supply of Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) package of two Chinese nuclear power Project HongYanHe & Ningde.
 Establish comprehensive & effective suppler panel for Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) product line.

Recruited by Managing Director nuclear Business to establish local Supply Chain and to set-up Alstom foot-print in India from scratch for executing contracts of supply and services of Conventional Island for nuclear plants in India. Localization of heavy components (especially Heat exchangers) for Turbine Island of world largest nuclear power project JAITAPUR (6x1750 MW) and Indian domestic nuclear power program for 2x700 MW PHWR.

 Established and developed procurement and logistics function for nuclear business in India.
 Designed and Implemented roadmap for establishment of Quality management system for nuclear supply chain in India. Recruited, Trained and Integrated team within nuclear global team of the company.

 Established a comprehensive and effective Supplier Panel for Nuclear India, and completed Localization model for Heat exchangers and Steam Turbine supply for Jaitapur NPP, achieving above 25% cost optimization.

 Establish supplier, negotiate & source first time Heat Exchangers components (Condenser, HP, LP heater, Deareator Tanks etc.) worth $80 million for Supercritical Steam plant project at Solapur(2x660 MW) & Nabinagar(3x660 MW).

Recruited by Managing Director Voith Hydro to establish local Supply Chain to reinforce Voith foot-print in India for executing of Large Hydro projects such as TEHRI-II (4x250 MW PSP), Lower Damwe (5x342 MW) including sourcing of hydro projects such as Loharinag Pala (4x150 MW), Sorang (2x50 MW) etc. and Localization of Turbine, Generator & critical components like Main inlet valve, Runners, nozzle deflector assembly etc.

 Established and developed Supply Chain function for Voith Hydro business in India. Managed procurement activities for complete EPC Hydro project. Identify & qualified Suppliers for critical Turbine & Generator components. Establish site workshop development cost with components manufacturing with assembly at site.

 Localization for manufacturing & development of critical components such as Runner, Turbine main Inlet Valve, Nozzle deflector, Distributor assembly, Rotor Rim & Hub, Stator core lamination etc. including development of costing tool for yearly value of approx. > 25 M€.

 Development of Estimation and Costing tool for major hydro power project components & achieved cost excellence for Francis and Pelton Runner & Kaplan Runner, Main inlet valve (MIV), Nozzle Deflector. Project procurement (negotiate, order management) for approx. eq. 200M€.

 Cost Excellence for tendering & cost estimation for equipment supply with wining proposal more than 50% for Large Hydro.
