1.To conduct legal analysis and research on various legal matters of the Company.
2. To provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memorandum and other briefing documents.
3. To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different acts and legal submissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well.
4. To conduct legal research by utilizing various resources and selecting the relevant material to analyze the legal information.
5. To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis.
Understand task authorization and construction contract requirements by meeting project managers.
Prepare construction contracts with emphasis on front end portion.
Handle Quality Assurance of contract documents before advertisement.
Involve amendments to professional contracts and change orders to construction contracts.
Create and maintain proper contract files.
Define and manage contract insurance.
Support internal and external audits as per senior FDD management’s request.
Review projects periodically to determine orderliness of contract files.
Develop Personnel and Task Authorizations and sub-consultant agreements and contract files.
Offer expertise and guidance to contract staff and program managers on contractual issues.
Offer guidance on contractual matters and company policy administration.
Interpret contract request and get contract template to develop executable document.
Report on unexecuted contracts and follow-up with suppliers.
Manage supplier information in database and update contact status.
Resolve problems associated with contract ambiguities and obsolete provisions with legal staff.
Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.
Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.
