ADNOC M Project Fujairah Terminal the crude oil storages are in underground rock caverns are located on the east and west coasts. Each with a capacity of 14 million barrels, deep below ground level
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Monitors and verifies work crew should undergone HSE induction and necessary trainings before site exposure and commencement of assigned tasks.
• Ensures TBT (tool box talks) has been conducted by Job Performers with work crew and supports the activity.
• Supports work crew for the necessary refresher trainings and awareness during the daily TBTs.
• Verifies the availability and validity of PTW prior to start work and monitors the safe execution of daily work activities.
• Liaise with Job Performer and ensures with the implementation of TRA recommended controls in place.
• Supports and performs the project HSE Program in accordance with project HSE plan/requirements; such as Emergency Response Plan, HSE Campaigns, HSE inspection and Audits.
• Acts as ‘Access Controller’ in the event of Emergency Response.
• Leads the work crew during evacuation towards the identified safe place / assembly point safely and orderly manner.
• Ensures that no one is left behind along the incident scene / working area during the evacuation process.
• Raising HOR Card and Intervenes to ‘Stop work policy’ in case of unsafe acts/conditions
• Monitoring proper isolation/barricaded so that unauthorized persons cannot access to the work area.
• Ensure that the blasting evacuation of personnel and equipment is in accordance to the blasting evacuation plan.
• Ensure that no entry shall be allowed into the “Area to be evacuated” until blasting activities have been completed and areas are safe for re-entry.
• Conducting confined space assessment (CSA) by AGT after post blasting activity and every 4 hrs. During normal work cycle activity.
• Ensure nobody will be allowed to enter below sprayed area, even during few minutes after spraying due to risk of falling fresh sprayed shotcrete.
• During execution of Drilling, rock bolting & SDR, measures shall be adopted to ensure safe working of Equipment and personnel. Operator and equipment must have project approved 3rd party certificate.
• Ensure illumination for all underground work locations. Reinforced lighting like trolley lights, are in place at the face underground to reduce risks of tripping, traffic hazards safety risks due to darkness and will improve the quality of the works.
• Ensure ventilation and air quality monitoring is being conducted through the accomplishment of confined space assessment certificate as pre requisite and supplementary certificate. Air quality check - Air flow rate, Air quality monitoring (O2, CO, NO, NO2, and LEL), Temperature, Humidity, TWL-Thermal work limit.
• Ensuring while mucking out equipment will inspected in following aspects on daily basis by operator - tire, brake, reverse alarm, light etc. keep speed limits (20km/h). Performing as per project approved traffic management plan.
• Monitoring mechanical scaling and manual scaling activity by Job Performer to avoid falling loose rocks.
• Ensure necessary PPE for the tasks as specified in PTW/TRA.
• Establishing project code of conduct for violation at work site.
• Monitoring and reporting of traffic violation according to the rag report.
• Zero tolerance on LSR violation.
• Ensures that Firefighting and Safety equipment tools is regularly inspected and serviced with approved color coded procedure.
• Ensures emergency preparedness and awareness on site including First-aider.
The Project consist four interchange along 10.5 Km. stretch road from AL Aziziya Street Extension at Interchange 29 to the Future Inner Orbital Road at Interchange 32.
Construction of a new freeway, including 4 interchanges with cross roads, Collectors / Distributors, overpass and underpass structures, retaining walls, pedestrian and bicycle paths, traffic signs, ITS, landscape and hardscape, street lighting and related infrastructure.
