KMD has for years been the leading software supplier to the public sector (state and municipalities) of Denmark. At present, KMD is growing as a supplier of SAP based solutions to the private sector as well. Most of the software provided by KMD is based on SAP platforms, which is the area I hold a position as a Senior Architect.
My main responsibilities are:
- Design of solutions to complex problems that involve the use of functionality on an SAP system. It can be in the areas of HCM, Logistics and Finance among others.
- Develop/program solutions on an SAP system using SAP Workflows and ABAP.
- Work as a consultant towards our customers.
- Coordinate the development of solutions with off-shore teams.
Projects:
- Participation in several mid-sized projects within SAP Finance for a customer that owns all railroad infrastructure in Denmark.
- Participation in a project that created a system to handle payment of subsidies to the citizens of Denmark.
- Participation in a project that converts employees from different payroll systems into KMD's SAP based HR and payroll system.
Reason for leaving: I do have a reason for leaving, but I have reasons to search further.
NNIT is a leading SAP consulting company within the pharmaceutical area.
My main responsibilities were:
- Solving ad-hoc SAP Workflows and ABAP tasks.
- Development of SAP Workflows and ABAP programs.
- Implementing SAP Fiori App MyInbox.
Projects:
- Implementation of SAP MyInbox Fiori Application at two customers.
- Project at the Danish tax authorities that changed the way information was exchanged with a third part system.
Reason for leaving: Received a better offer to work for KMD.
Evry A/S in Denmark was part of the Norwegian company of the same name. Evry was a strong SAP consultancy company in Denmark for years. It was taken over by two other companies in 2016.
My main responsibilities were:
- Provide SAP technical solutions to Evry’s customers, including developing ABAP programs and SAP Workflows.
- Coordinate development with a team of developers at Evry’s office in Bulgaria.
Projects and achievements:
I have spent most of the time during the two years of employment at Evry in an SAP implementation project at Coop Danmark (a supermarket chain with 40k employees), developing workflows and ABAP programs together with a co-suppliers’ developers in India. At this project I have, among other things, developed the SAP ECC part of the solution that sends and receives documents to the Danish e-Boks system.
Reason for leaving: Evry A/S was taken over by Itelligence and IBM. During this process I opted for a position at NNIT.
Short period at KMD A/S in Aalborg.
My main responsibilities were:
- Design and implementation of ABAP programs within the SAP module (Public Sector Collectibles and Deductibles), working with a team of off-shore developers.
-Projects:
KMD created a solution for the Danish tax authorities to collect any kind of debt from the citizens. I was part of the group of ABAP developers (KMDs own employees and a supplier from Germany) working on this solution.
Reason for leaving: I was offered a job at Evry A/S.
Vestas Wind Systems is a world leading manufacturer of wind turbines. I was hired in Vestas in both Denmark and Brazil in a total of nearly six years.
My main responsibilities were:
-Design and implementation of SAP Workflows and ABAP programs within different modules of SAP, including HCM, FI, QM, Document Management System (DMS), etc.
Projects:
- I participated in the project that launched SAP at Vestas. The first 3 years of my employment at Vestas were used in this project.
- Several smaller projects adjusting the SAP implementation and including new features that needed workflows and ABAP.
Reason for leaving: After six years I thought it was time for a change.
Grundfos is a world leading manufacturer of electrical pumps.
My main responsibilities were:
-Design and implementation of SAP Workflows and ABAP programs within different modules of SAP, including MM, SD, QM and PM.
Projects:
- My main project at Grundfos was the Implementation of SAP in Grundfos' Danish company. This project ran for nearly three years.
- After the SAP implementation project, a maintenance phase followed, which I participated making adjustments to the developments made previously.
Reason for leaving: A former colleague invited me to work at Vestas Wind Systems, as Vestas had started their own SAP implementation project.
I took a big step and moved to Germany to work for a small company within the telecom area. I decided to work for SAP A/G, as they were at the time recruiting developers to work in their teams of developers within HCM.
My main responsibilities were:
- Development of ABAP programs within HCM.
- Resolve customer messages within the Danish HCM solution.
Projects:
- Small projects to enhance the Danish version of SAPs HCM solution.
Reason for leaving: I decided to move back to Denmark.
Theoretical education dealing with the principals of radio frequency in telecommunications.
