• Conducted monitoring of georeferenced boundaries for 22, 000 acres of paddy fields, involving 2, 500 smallholder farmers, to identify errors in digitization process and oversee data re-geofencing.
• Analysed methane emission inventory for Indian rice fields using Sentinel 5-P satellite data.

• Streamlined geospatial databases with data accuracy and consistency.
• Demystified technical support and training to field researchers in GIS applications to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.

Managed multiple projects in wetland ecosystem services, forest carbon estimation, spring revival, and feasibility assessment of biogas energy while working with this organization.

Project: Feasibility assessment of biogas and evaluating other alternate energy sources in the mid mountainous region of Uttarakhand.
• Developed project proposals, defined objectives and methodologies, and secured project funding.
• Conducted field surveys across 8 District of Uttarakhand, including high and mid-mountainous areas,
• Managed and organized the documentation of gathered data with team, performed data analysis, and prepared comprehensive reports to present findings to stakeholders.
Project: Assessment of ecosystem services provided by the Renuka Wetland and the surrounding communities’ dependence on these services for their livelihood and cultural practices.
• Collaborated with partner organizations to plan the methodology, consult with 12 selected stakeholders, conduct secondary data analysis, prepare detailed questionnaires (both structured and semi-structured), and perform KPI and field surveys for a project.
• Constructed a comprehensive framework model for ecosystem analysis, performed data analysis and prepared cartographic maps.
Project: Planning plantations: Past learning, toward triple wins in carbon, biodiversity and livelihoods.
• Conducted extensive field survey in Palampur district covering 800 hectares sample distribution, collecting data set for above ground biomass (AGB) estimation.
• Training and modelling of forest carbon estimation using Machine Learning techniques specifically Random Forest optimization and Spatial datasets.
Project: Conducting Socio-economic and livelihood assessment surveys of pastoralists of Himachal Pradesh.
• Designed a project proposal to address the migratory pattern of pastoralism in Himanchal Pradesh, and a total of 9 routes were identified in the outcome.
• Mapping the historical and current changes in routes and associated impact such as poaching and human conflict, also its impact on their social livelihood.
• Served as a pilot project in developing long-term programs for 4-5 years.
Project: Creating Climate-resilient Communities in Mid-Hills of Uttarakhand: Interventions towards Forest, Water & Livelihood Security.
• Conducted geological study of the springs and drains in 3 populous villages of Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand,
• Mapping and surveyed the household level dependencies, rock structures and generating spring profile.
• Assisted the awareness programmes and training of localities about the importance of nature based solutions (NBS).

Currently enrolled in a doctoral programme offered by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Department of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). My research has been strongly focused on the redesigning of models to simulate future trajectories of climate change and niche modelling. The research will develop approaches to conserve biodiversity under climate and land-use change.
