1. Supervise daily civil maintenance tasks like repairs, inspections, and upkeep of plant infrastructure.
2. Regularly check the condition of civil structures (roads, foundations, buildings) for damage or wear.
3. Organize and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure efficient plant operation.
4. Ensure proper tools, materials, and workforce are available for maintenance tasks.
5. Make sure all maintenance work follows safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents.
6. Identify and solve problems with civil structures, ensuring quick fixes to keep the plant running smoothly.
7. Work closely with other departments (mechanical, electrical) to align maintenance activities with overall operations.
8. Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work for reporting and compliance purposes.
9. Ensure that all maintenance work meets quality standards and is carried out as per the design and regulations.
10. Reports to the Team Leader.

Roles:

1. Follow-up with Client internal departments and manufacturers for timely approval of the engineering documents for manufacturing clearance.
2. Report to Project Manager on the progress of the material delivery from various vendors and advise on contingency plans for ensure the agreed construction schedule with the company.
3. Preparation of documents including method statements and procedures for different activities and obtaining approvals from Client.
4. Co-ordination with Procurement, Engineering Consultants, Sub contractors and review of their documents such as method statements, schedules and material approval requests.
5. Review weekly/monthly progress reports from all related vendors/subcontractors. If there are any lags in actual status and not meeting the construction schedule to arrange the vendor/subcontractor management meeting to mitigate the delays.
6. Participate in weekly progress review with client.
7. Ensure timely communication with the Engineering Consultants and Client when there is deviation from procedures.
8. Liaise with various internal disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and QA/QC for timely deliverables and approvals of various vendor documents and resolve any issues on approval of the documents.
9. Prepare technical queries to client for missing or conflicting technical details in coordination with discipline engineers and propose modifications as appropriate.

Roles:

1. Coordinate with project manager and administer efficient working of construction process.
2. Review all the plans, status reports before management meeting.
3. Review project deliverables and take corrective actions - if any.
4. Make sure the compliance to Applicable Codes, QA/QC policies, Standards, and Specifications.
5. Oversee all engineering processes in construction projects and provide subject matter expertise as per requirement and evaluate all designs and drawings before implementation.
6. Liaising with consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
7. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
8. Comparing planned progress with actual and communicating with other sections/contractors to accelerate the progress.
9. Ensure that the site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
10. Arranges for appropriate safety training to be given to employees and contractors on site.
