Leading a team of L & D professionals to bring about a transformation in learning opportunities, providing innovative solutions to develop staff. Aligning business strategy with learning needs, whilst considering wellbeing and coaching programmes to change organisational culture.
Set up careers provision and department across whole school. Created procedures, action plans and policies to establish a careers curriculum across the whole school (11 to 18 years). Provide students with impartial careers advice, subject selections and guidance on admission to Higher Education. Network with overseas universities and local organisations to provide mini careers/HE fairs to support careers decision making. Utilise MBTI, John Holland and psychometric assessment software effectively to facilitate discussions. Coaching, guiding and consultancy on career development.
Deliver training and provide consultancy services to a variety of companies across the UAE. Worked alongside business development staff to ensure the best learning and development activities were constructed. Tailored training courses to suit a variety of organisations and departments; energy industry, banking; higher educational institutes; Human Resources departments
Deliver soft skills, management and team building to all staff located in the MENASA region and across the FCO network. Recommend that the right mix of Learning & Development (L&D) interventions (70/20/10) is included in the L&D Strategy and in-line with the organisation, post, teams and individual’s needs by facilitating Learning Needs Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Consult with Post leadership to conduct overall learning needs analysis to ensure learning & development needs are met.
Provide support and guidance to Posts with Learning and Development solutions by managing expectations, providing Learning Needs Analysis and coaching services.
Incorporate both formal and informal developmental approaches that include a 70/20/10 approach. Delivery includes management, leadership, core diplomatic, team development and soft skills.
