• Conducts Internal Prospective and Retrospective, Clinical and Administrative Audit Projects with respect to International and National Healthcare Standards, Good Clinical Practices, HACCP Standards, and the Hospital Policies and Procedures (which includes proposing, designing, planning, leading, conducing, documenting, and presenting audit projects)
• Manages and Performs Internal Audit Surveys regarding the hospital services (which includes planning the survey, interviewing patients / employees, and evaluating & reporting the results)
• Enforces Patients' Rights through performing continuous Patients' Rights related audits (informed consent forms / mortality - morbidity cases)
• Analyse policies & procedures, identifies potential gaps, and recommend enhancements through data collection and evidence comparison
• Supports the activities related to the processing and decision making of Medico Legal Cases
• Assists in planning annual audit projects and reporting annual audit reports
• Review Purchase Orders, Contracts, and establish price comparison sheets for any new project (all departments) for SMC; in coordination with the Procurement Department
• Assists in the development, upgrading, and implementation Internal Medical Software relevant to audit projects (example: Electronic Medical Records System / Outpatient Clinic Management Systems)
• Assess employees' compliance to implemented hospital practices by interviews and observations on regular basis
• Performs direct observational and documentation review audits in different departments (Surgical Operating Room, Procurement Department, Internal Pharmacy, Kitchen, Nutrition Centre (Diet World) Out Patient Department, In-Patient Unit, Store, Laboratory & Infection Control, Medical Records, etc…) compile information, and analyse the results for Risk Assessment, Supplies Consumption, and Workflow Improvement purposes
• Creates policies, protocols and guidelines for backing up audit recommendations
• Participates in studies and projects for developing new hospital services and / or improving the patient care (Plastic & Bariatric Surgeries)
• Conduct Procurement Projects and studies (for the new hospital - SMC2)
• Participates in meeting with external companies bidding for projects in SMC (part of internal auditing)
• Works with the Procurement Department for getting the most suitable project deals for the hospital
• Coordinate and meet with customers, collect data, and initiate quotations for websites’ development
• Create contracts related for long term websites hosting and maintenance agreements
• Follow-up the social media accounts related for Onliners dot com
• Conduct market studies for benchmarking purposes
• Create advertisement posters for social media
