Accountable for Warehouse Management, Inventory Control and implementation of procedures for dexterous functioning of Stores Office
Spearhead a store team of 30 members. Supervise staff performance and ensure work discipline at all times. Encourage the teamwork and enforce modern techniques in staff management
Collaborate with Senior Management team to define warehouse requirements and supply issues
Develops, recommends and implements new strategies to control and monitor the daily operations
Ensure the adequate levels of stock by advising the Senior Operations Manager on all matters relating to the supplies. Also ensure ZERO variance in monthly stocktaking verification
Maintain an adequate control over the Direct issue items and ensure the use of updated forms
Ensure special project deadlines are met by observing Warehouse Management System priorities
Apply the Quality policy and system established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. Comply with and practice the Company’s established Hygiene and Safety policies
Plan and implement physical counts, setting up Min Max levels thus ensuring the elimination of excess order and retaining excess stock
Responsible for all goods received, issued, forwarded, delivered, dispatched, prepared and distributed in order to ensure the compliance of Company’s specific procedures on all services from Company’s store
Responsible for reviewing of purchase request, evaluate options with suppliers, examine price, suitability and availability of required items, compare specifications and choose the most appropriate item against the purchase request
Supervise staging and kitting of materials to support Job Orders, Plan to ensure timely delivery of materials to various locations as planned thereby ensuring appropriate preparations for job orders / items as required
Designs and maintains all important charts, documents professionally and methodically. Amends every product data for statistical analysis and charts required by the Management and ERP related matters
Supervise and participate in maintaining a clean and organized Storeroom as well as any point-of-use inventory storage areas which provides easy access for logistics
•liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements;
•arranging payment of freight and other charges, or collection of payment on behalf of the client;
•utilizing e-commerce, internet technology and satellite systems to enable real-time tracking and tracing of goods;
