Key Result Areas:
• To prepare and / review major equipment enquiry specifications, reviewing and analyzing vendor bids, preparation of technical bid evaluation, Reviewing of Vendor documents and co - ordination with various other disciplines for data inputs
• To provide technical assistance, coordination, and liaison with other discipline engineers on all aspects of Engineering / technical matters and audits

• Adhering to engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes toward engineering design, including raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.
• Reviewing vendor quotations, preparation of technical quote evaluations and submission of vendor recommendations in conjunction with the Materials Management Department. Technically approve Order Variation Summaries.
• Providing relevant knowledge and practical support to site activities, such as site visits or surveys and vendor, contractor, or client site-related queries and discussions.
• Collaborating with other departments, including operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity, to ensure timely availability of spare parts and resources for maintenance activities.
• Analyze equipment performance data and trends to optimize maintenance schedules and improve reliability.
• Participate in the planning and execution of major maintenance and overhaul projects, including shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Supporting the Planning, scheduling and execution of discipline activities and deliverables, including man-hour estimating and schedule preparation to support bid / tendering as required.
• Taking ownership for Risk Identification, Assessment, Mitigation, Monitoring and Close Out for your respective discipline.
• Carry out Root Cause Investigations and execute respective actions to improve equipment reliability and availability.
