As a communications manager, my role involves setting and implementing communication strategies on behalf of the clients. I am responsible for crafting and disseminating messaging that supports the overall objectives of clients’ brands. Some key responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing communication strategies: Researching, analyzing, and developing
comprehensive communication strategies that are aligned with the client's goals and objectives.
• Communications consultancy: Providing expert guidance and counsel to regional and global internaland external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication strategies and messaging.
• Social media strategy development and execution: Analyzing market trends, researching target audience, and creating compelling content to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement across multiple platforms.
• Creating content: Creating engaging and informative content that effectively communicates the brand's message. This can include writing bylines, press releases, social media content, and other materials.
• Media relations management: Maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets in order to secure coverage for clients. This may involve pitching stories, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
• Event management: Planning and executing successful events that effectively communicate the
organization's message to its stakeholders.
• Analytics and reporting: Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies,
using metrics such as engagement, reach, and sentiment to evaluate the success of campaigns.
Set and drive client’s brand and communication strategy. Identify, analyze, build relationship and engage with key stakeholders. A strong focus on crisis communications and PR led campaigns for a variety of clients across industries including but not limited, FMCG, Tech, Lifestyle, Economic Development. Played a central role in key PR moments, securing coverage, raising awareness for my clients, and build strong media relations.
Key roles included media relations and influencer management, content management, auditing and reporting of media successes and event management for client let events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external media providers of media and journalists in Middle East and Africa Region;
- Research, create and improve outreach lists of target media outlets journalists;
