• Promotes and restores patient’s health in either patient’s home, within UAE hospitals or outside
UAE hospitals.
• I’ve handled different patient with cases: post Gastric sleeve bypass surgery, pre and post Coronary
artery bypass grafting, Geriatric patient with multiple diseases such as CAD, CHF, HPN and DM
type 2 and premature/newborn patient.
• Blood extraction for patient who can’t go to hospitals or clinic for blood test.
• IV therapy such as IV catheter insertion and parenteral medication administration.
• Assessed patients’ physical, medical and psychological needs and devised medical or rehabilitation
program accordingly.
• Communicated with the doctors regarding individual patient need and report changes.
• Reviewed patient charts and determine patient mobility, sensory deficits and skin conditions and
adjusted plan of care.
• Inserting catheters, treating and preventing bedsores, oral medication administration, changing
bandages, administering oxygen and monitoring vital signs and blood sugar levels.
• Tube feeding management, indwelling catheter care, wound care, medication teaching, preparing
patients for medical examinations and diagnostics test.
• Ensuring that accurate documentation and administrative records are kept.
NICU Nurse
Providing immediate medical attention to premature or critically ill babies.
Assisting Physicians in administering treatments like IV therapy, Medication administration, Blood Transfusion, CPR and use of mechanical ventilator.
Assisting Physicians in performing highly complicated procedures like CTT, ET tube insertion and Lumbar puncture.
Assisting Physicians in doing medical examinations and diagnostic tests.
Provided special care like Umbilical catheter/OGT insertion, hearing test, Newborn Screening, Specialized feeding, Intravenous therapy, Phototherapy, Suctioning, Adjusted the incubator and radiant warmer according to the desired level.
Monitor Newborns medications, progress, and recovery.
Educate mothers on newborns condition, breastfeeding and answers question.
Identifies needs and problems of newborn through clinical observation, and physical assessment.
Staff Nurse
• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
Makes initial and interim history and vital signs on each client.
Assess client status and notifies physician of any clinical dangers or abnormal observations.
Prepares clients for examinations and sets up the room as needed.
Assists physician and needed during physician examinations, minor wound suturing and simple
debridement of wounds.
Administers oral medications and injections as prescribed by the physician, and closely monitors for any adverse effects on the client.
Obtains routine specimens as instructed by the physician.
Maintains health records, documents each client contact and updates client profile.
Checks equipments and supplies, restocks as necessary.
Assures that the client understands instructions.
Encourages health maintenance and promotion through counseling and awareness activities.
