Ensure proper implementation of the company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Conduct and implement the risk assessment and loss prevention plan of activities.
• lead investigation of all accidents, incidents, and near misses. Then follow up by implementing with corrective actions or best practices.
• Organize and Implement the plant safety meetings and plant senior’s inspection tours.
• Prepare plant's safety & environment budget and equipment's.
• Develop emergency response plan for (fie -explosion - chemicals spillage) and coordinates effective test drills.
• Ensure and testing all firefighting systems are maintained properly & ready for emergencies.
• Lead plant’s evacuation drills and prepare drill reports with associated action plans.
• Implement work permit system (hot - cold - confined space).
• Preparation of training plan, training materials & conduct safety sessions to all employees.
• Work with plant teams to minimize plant LTI’s and achieve company safety objectives.
• Supervisor contractors companies for meeting QHSE requirements.
•implement proper management and cost effective application of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, and energy consumption.
• lead and Responsible of bidding committee for ( security- Care for plantings- Pest Control, personal protective equipment's ) preparing proposals, queries from contractors, selections& negotiation .
supervisory engineers of boilers and turbine and associated equipment
Start-ups and shut-downs steam turbine generator sets and connects or disconnects from electrical distribution system
Continuously monitors operating staff and condition of turbines, generators and switchgear
supervisory all electrical switching on all distribution switchgear
supervisory engineers of auxiliary equipment such as pumps, compressors, pollution control equipment, coal crushers - belts conveys system and cooling towers Regenerates water softeners; tests and treats boiler feed water, storage water and cooling water
Assists other operating staff as required
Trains and instructs lower level operators in the proper operation of turbines, generators, switchgear and steam to campus control devices, as well as all auxiliary systems required to support the operation of these systems
Communicates and explains equipment problems to appropriate maintenance personnel
Promote safe operations and support departmental safety initiatives and programs

Garri4 Sponge Coke Fired Power Plant Project (2X55 MW- SUBSTATION )

Responsibilities:
*Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure that they meet safety requirements. Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
*monitored company occupational health and safety policies, programs and procedures
*Monitored personnel activities, enforced Range Safety policies, environmental and occupational health regulations and investigated safety violations..
*Conducted regular walk through safety inspections of construction areas to determine compliance with company rules and regulations.
*Scheduled and participated in all plant safety training/testing for all job classifications in the facility
Responsibilities:
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance plan and papering reports..
• Supervising maintenance technical staff.
• Analyze and investigate a various plant process in case of an abnormality conditions or troubleshooting and ensure the plant process performance with reliability and high efficiency
• Carrying out preventive and predictive (CBM) and corrective maintenance jobs.
• Isolation authorized (Opens, closes and/or adjusts valves and switches on equipment.
• Performs studies on the plant for modification and replacement to improve the plant operation, performance and reliability.
Accomplishments achieved in work:
o Installation, commission and operation of high pressure pumps successfully
o Plant annual overall maintenance successfully.
