Review and identify Scope of work in order to proceed for Subletting the different scopes and procurement of materials.
Co-ordination with Architects and Consultants for ensuring that all engineering work is carried out in accordance with specifications.
Client Management - Necessary coordination for Monthly Payment application and Variation Order approvals.
Record all Changes in the project scope and Prepare Variation Orders to the Employer and Sub-Contractors.
• To support the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and briefing them the scope of work for accurate execution at site.
• To liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
• Carry out cost management including forecasting.
• Updating the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans and have accountability, along with the project team for the commercial performance and strategy.
• Ensure that any main contracts entered have terms and conditions that are appropriate for covering all the commercial risks.
• Ensure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions.
• Highlighting areas of concern / loss on any part of the contract.
• Ensure that good client relationships are fostered.
• Prepare variation orders on claims/variations and accountable for liaising with Client for finalizing the Cost.
• Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best
commercial advantage for the company.
• Be responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accounting.
• Monitoring of contract charges and notification to sub-contractors.
• Maintain control of sub contractor’s accounts and minimize the cost of any
Variations.
• Prepare the cost / value reconciliation reports accurately and in accordance
with company procedure.
• Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best
commercial advantage for the company.
• Prepare, and in conjunction with senior management agree final account with
client’s representative.
• Prepare variation orders on claims/variations and accountable for liaising with Client for finalizing the Cost.
