Joined Godrej Construction to implement and establish OHS systems and achieve ZERO harm across Project. Responsible for overall OHS aspects of the organization, lead as overall OHS at site.
Prepare MIS and submit timely to corporate safety department.
Provide advisory roles both to senior management & lower level. Always stood like bridge between all levels.
Conducting OHS Meetings with Management & and preparing the MOM and circulate the all site employees.
Preparation of Annual Operating Plan for OHS department with budget proposal.
Prepare OHS, Audit Protocol and Conduct Audits at site with national and international standards. provides support to comply audit observations & findings.
Prepare on Site safety plan, Site emergency Response Plan, SOPs, HIRA.
Implementation of robust OHS management system (IMS): OSHAS-18001 & ISO 14001.
Safety Cultural Assessment, BBS Strategy and program development, BBS audit, Safety
Observation System (SOS)
Identify specialized OHS trainings and impart training matrix for all levels. Specialization in imparting BBS training.
Conduct Safety Kaizen training and initiate various kaizen initiation.
Conduct safety & operational incident investigation and provide CAPA Plan to avoid reoccurrence. Share the incident with other employees including labourers.
Share and implement best practices which are happening across Godrej Sites.
Monitor fire systems: Comply FM standards, maintain major & first-aid firefighting operation. Impart fire training and Maintenance plan.
Establish strong internal/external emergency response support for immediate and effective response mechanism.
Setting up of roles, responsibilities, KPI, and implementation of safety programs.
Coordinate with Safety Heads of projects and assets to provide guidance and assist in implementation of best safety practices.
Designing Pre start-up Safety Review (PSSR) protocol and conduct at various stages of project progress.
Establish '5'S, KAIZEN at site.
Designed Basic Safety qualification module, Onsite emergency response Plan, Construction Safety Manual, Contractors Safety Evaluation protocol to evaluate contractor’s safety levels.
Celebrate safety functions all over the year and motivate the all employees with the help of motivational schemes.
Health & Safety
o Assist in organisation design for HSE across H.O & Projects.
o Maintain all HSE records including orientation, HSE training, inspections, reviews, incident investigation reporting and notify reportable occurrences.
o Conducting accident analysis and taking remedial action.
o Performing safety audits and site inspection.
o Ensuring compliance to all the Health, Safety & Environment measures as per statutory norms.
o Collating the monthly safety report and preparing statistics.
o Conducting Training Program on ISO & HSE related topics.
o Presenting M.I.S at the MRM to the top management.
o Coordination with all Site Safety Officers / Site Project Managers for Safety issues.
o Preparing Prequalification HSE Tender Documentation.
o Conducting Emergency Mock drill once in a six month on different emergency event.
o To Check service / maintenance work of fire fighting system / equipments at HO - Mumbai.
Environment
o Creating Awareness on Environmental protection Measures (Env Management plans) to the Middle Management staff of the organization and site HSE In-charges.
o IMS auditing, Periodical inspections, trainings, creating conducive environment conditions at project location including documentation and filing compliance reports to the statutory authorities
o Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plans for the Desalination plant including budgeting and implementation.
o Procedure Documents (Environment philosophy, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management Plan) preparation, approval from the client.
o Periodical inspections, trainings, best practices for protecting the environment conditions at project location.
o Executing waste management measures for optimum utilization of resources.
o Co -ordinate for implementation of Pollution control board terms and condition for consent to establish and operate of batching and crusher plant
o Assist the HSE Manager in all safety related matters and environmental protection program.
o Preparation of Audit Summery, NCR Closing Summery, Mock Drill Summery.
o Assist in the induction and safety training of new employees/ Safety Officers and update the training requirements of current employees.
o Conducting accident analysis and taking remedial action.
o Performing safety audits and site inspection.
o Ensuring compliance to all the safety measures as per statutory norms.
o Collating the monthly safety report and preparing statistics.
o Presenting M.I.S at the MRM to the top management.
