I worked as occupational therapist in a rehabilitation department with adult and pediatrical patients. I provided individual therapy sessions and also group sessions. The common diagnosis were orthopedical disorders - joint replacement, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic back pain syndrome, spinal cord operations, neurological diseases and post gynecological operation. I performed an initial assessment of each patient before I started the treatment and document the findings accordingly. I designed the short and long term rehabilitation plan for each patient according the result of the assessment. My therapy interventions were based on kinesiological analysis, patient's medical history, doctor's order and individual needs of a patient. I used many rehabilitation treatment techniques, including therapeutic excercise such as passive, active and resistive range of motion excercise and stretching and muscle endurance excercise. I used soft tissue mobilization. ADL training - dressing, feeding, grooming, toilet use, transfers, mobility. I focused on increasing fine motor skills, Gross motor skills, manipulation, correct grasp development, releasing objects, handwriting skills.
