Managing 10 HR professionals across UAE, US and Iraq, my main role is to provide Strategic and Operational HR service to the business to support the company’s over-all objectives. I’ve been a key player and headed various HR projects aimed at improving team business performance which includes rolling out new Compensation and Benefits using Hay Methodology, SAP-HCM/HR Implementation, HR Policy Development and Cascading, Company Bidding process and other more value adding programs.


Business Partnering
• Partnered with the Management on strategic and operational HR programmes in line with their goals and objectives whilst ensuring consistency in implementing people management practices and programs.
• Provide HR support to the business including but not limited to recruitment and selection, employee development, employee Relations, Local Labour Laws, HR Dashboards, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Performance Evaluations, on boarding, training and development.

HR Strategy
• Developed employee handbook and HR Strategy for 5 years (2020). Designed and reviewed various HR policies, practices and policies aligned to Best practices, industry and Company culture, in consultation with Senior and Middle Managers and other stakeholders.
• Participated in Business planning contributing to Business strategy and implementation of new expansions, employee reductions and company bidding

Workforce Planning and Mobility
• Partnered with Directors, Department Heads, Brand Managers and Group Managers in forecasting their manpower budgets.

Talent Acquisition
• Serve as main point of contact for senior and middle managers for all recruitment related matters.
• Travelled to multiple countries (South Africa, Kyrgyztan, Moldova, Nepal, Turkey, Thailand and India) for massive recruitment campaigns.
• Designed resourcing policies, process, and strategies to support the business in meeting its talent needs ensuring vacancies are filled in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Conduct interviews and assessments for managerial and key positions. Explore and review recruitment channels for wider options in acquiring diverse candidates.

Learning and Development / Talent Management
• Was responsible in developing and designing annual training plans and budgets based on TNA results and organizational strategy. Design and conduct training programs using a wide variety of learning methodologies.

Total Reward
• Designed appropriate compensation and benefits appropriate to company culture, labour market and local statutory laws. Experienced and Trained with Hay Job Evaluation, Grading System and Reward management strategies
• Developed C&B Policies and Matrix ensuring alignment with the organization’s over-all objectives and HR Vision. Advises line managers on any compensation issues.

Employee Relations
• Serve as the main point of contact by the line managers for any employee relations issues involving employee misconducts/poor behaviors, investigations and hearings. Provides labour law and policy interpretation to HR colleagues and Line Managers.
• Lead and design Employee Relations programs, policies and practices and ensure implementation and compliance with the Company Culture and the local labour laws.

Payroll
• Review and authorize input documents before submission to finance for payment. Troubleshoot employee related complaints and issues relating to payments.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of team member activities related to the Payroll such as bank account change, new joiner salary, recurring and none recurring additions and deductions, final settlement process and settlement to ex-staff benefits.

Human Resource Information System
• Design meaningful measurements and reports for HR and the Management to demonstrate HR value.
• SAP Super User. Led the SAP HCM / HR implementation for both UAE and Iraq.

People Management
• Managing 13 HR team members across multiple countries (UAE, US, Iraq, Saudi, Lebanon)
