My role requires to perform Procurement / Purchasing and Expediting (post
order to delivery) functions from office, workshop and jobsites for respective
projects in collaboration with ITT group team members from India as well as
other operating centres, respective project and proposal managers and any
other assignment that may require my skills.
Prepare/Review/ Approve Commercial Bid Analysis ensuring all commercial
T&C are addressed and liaise with Internal customers to understand
technical requirement and with legal team for commercial T&Cs. Review
Risk associated with Contracts and discussed the same with Management
before finalizing contract.
Work on Zoho Books skills and an awareness of functions of another
module.Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers while
performing relationship management activities with critical suppliers.
Review and negotiate contract language and specifications on behalf of the
company, to ensure competitive prices along with favorable terms and
conditions to include favorable contract language, delivery terms, payment
terms, etc.
Expedition of documents and delivery with supplier aboard. Conducting
kickoff meetings and recurring review meetings with supplier and team.
Monthly MRM update status of ongoing projects.
Monitoring vendor progress including submission of vendor drawings
and manuals, placement of material orders, manufacturing, and preparations
for delivery.
Supporting the approval of vendor progress payments.
Visit the supplier site if required before delivery for FAT & inspection.
Key Result Areas:
• Accomplish procurement of mandatory spares HPCL Vizag - LTHE
for HCU & CDU-VDU.
• Accomplish procurement of E&I packages (valves, transmitters, PG,
TG, CEMS, Ignition panels, cables etc.) refractory material, for 5
ADNOC projects of heaters.

• Develop/Lead a competent team who can effectively manage
corporate procurement activities and negotiate the best overall
value for the organization. Focus on process improvements to
increase automation of the sourcing/buying process and enhance
overall procurement process.

• Managing subcontracted processes of the ready product of burglary
safes, Lockers, Strong Room Door and Marine components
• Implementing new subcontracting processes at vendors and establishing
required quality procedures for the same
• Planning & executing production operations in coordination with the
other functions
• Managing the workmen for achieving the periodic production targets.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures, manuals & work instructions
for production operations for the unit
• Reducing rejection level & rework through continuous up gradation of
quality circles to observe better compliance in line with changing
customer requirement.
• Ensuring WIP control at vendors as well as at plant at department level
• Controlling completion of all ERP processes, detailed material planning
as per TOC
• Responsible for NPD and setup of new product line in 2018.

• Steered efforts in designing plant layout and increased production efficiency thereby resulting in cost reduction &
improved manpower efficiency.
• Designed & implemented manufacturing processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials.
• Developed best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
• Played a key role in cost saving up to 5% in 2014.
• Cleared audits with few minor observations conducted by TUV for recertification of ISO 9001:2014.

• Contributed to maximizing productivity and reduced production cost by 10%
• Pivotal in the implementation of Process Improvement systems.
• Developed fixtures and gauges for increasing output of assembly.
