Project Director for the detailed design for a fully automated Container Terminal in the Middle East (a 2.5 mil TEU facility) for the Hamad Port Project in Qatar. The project included automated container handling equipment and terminal operating systems, infrastructure and buildings for the efficient operation of the automated terminal and integration of the terminal systems into the existing port operating systems. The Construction package has an estimated cost of development of US $ 1bil. The project was shelved after completion of the design phase.

Senior Project Manager for the design and construction support for the Commercial Terminals (General Cargo, Vehicle and Livestock Terminals and Offshore Supply Base) of the Hamad Port Project in Qatar. This package included heavy duty terminal pavement, 5 electrical substations and bulk utility supply. The Construction Package had an estimated cost of development of US $ 350 mil.
Senior Project Manager for the design and construction support for the Port Marine Unit, Coast Guard Base and the Port Administration Area of the Hamad Port Project in Qatar. The Construction Package had an estimated cost of development of US $ 300 mil.
Senior Project Manager for the construction support for two Marine Works Packages for the Hamad Port Project in Qatar, namely the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces Base basin (construction of 3.6 km of quay walls and associated revetments along the basin perimeter and associated marine works) and the Qatar Economic Zone 3 basin (construction of the 3.0 km of quay walls and revetments). The Construction Packages had an estimated cost of development of US $ 200 mil and US $ 250 mil respectively.

Project Manager for the design and construction supervision for a FIFA approved sports field complex, a training facility / home base facility used during 2010 Football World Cup.

As Senior Project Engineer I was also regularly required to report to QP Senior Management on the progress of this prestigious project
Project Director for the construction supervision of a flyover and underpass project in Doha. The project consisted of 3.5km of 25m wide x 11m deep cast in situ concrete underpass and post-tensioned flyovers, related drainage and included the diversion of existing 132 and 33 kV cables, 700mm dia water mains and 400m treated sewage effluent mains and the necessary co-ordination and consultation with the local service providers for power, water and drainage.
