- June 2015 to Current: Applications Support Analyst
Supporting the Inventory Control and Purchase Order sub-system under the Procure to Pay Team in the Lawson application specifically.
o Provide functional and technical support to users for the Lawson application system in Schlumberger.
o Troubleshoot, resolve tickets, and communicate the solution to clients via the Service Desk or other support personnel.
o Respond to customer issues via the ticketing system.
o Develop material for development.
o Update user manuals and document processes.
o In progress with a fixed step training program designed to move employees from grade 10 to 11; which constitutes a year’s time worth of trainings, both online and in real time, along with a project initiated and lead by me.
- August 2012 to May 2015: GOLD Management Accountant
o Income Statement:
Monitoring and analysis of costs (including comparison to budget) & JV bookings of costs of specific cost centers under my scope.
o Balance Sheet:
Monitoring/analyzing/JV bookings of certain accounts under my scope, such as assets, recharges, accruals, VAT, and prepayments all related to the specific cost centers under my scope.
Consolidation of the entire Balance sheet for our organization in SLB which consisted of around 10 cost centers.
o VAT Analysis
o Process Improvement;
Balance Sheet and Income Statement reporting; using Macros and other excel formulas to enhance the reports efficiently.
Cost Analysis; including analysis of history of 3 years before I had joined the team.
VAT Reporting; including history analysis of 6 years prior to joining as part of an audit project in liaise with the Netherlands authorities.
- March - July 2012: Asset Management
o Promoted to a project alongside a segment Operations Controller and President to clean up the segments’ asset listing in the Lawson Application.
Fully technical project to support their project from Lawson perspective in maintaining assets. The segment was able to clean up their balance sheet from wrongly depreciating assets, disposing obsolete assets correctly and coming to a clean representation of their assets in terms of numbers, data base, categorization, GBV, NBV, life and hence depreciation. The project was to be completed in a duration of 6 months while I finished it in 4 months.
- November 2011 - February 2012: Account Payable Accountant
o Requesting Vendor Creation
o Handling Etisalat and DU Master files and bills
o Handling e-claim expenses
o Manual/Urgent Payments; coordinating from Vendor Creation request in Lawson up to supplier payment with Accenture.
o E-travel Spend Analysis
