Currently I am working as a Project Control Engineer (Planning & Cost Control) with NESMA Trading co, Saudi Arabia for HCIS Projects.

Responsibilities as a Project Control Engineer are:-

1. Preparation of EPC Schedule as per customer requirements, by Incorporating the Inputs of Engineering & Procurement schedule from sub vendors
2. Preparation of detailed FAT & Delivery Schedule for Procurement Activities
3. Preparation of detailed Shutdown Schedule for Construction Activities to Optimize the Process Interruption during cutover activities
4. Preparation of Cash flow (in & out) Forecast as per Project Contractual Terms & Conditions
5. Generate Monthly Invoice as per Project Progress, Verify & approve the Subcontractor Invoice
6. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
7. Making sure the achieved progress on the project fits the progress anticipated in the schedule
8. Making adjustments to schedules if necessary
9. Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes
10. Understand WBS structure, and work with management and project team in the development of work break down structure for progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimating and project control
11. Prepare cost estimation and schedule bar chart plan considering all in puts (manpower, equipment’s and materials ) availability, production and construction sequences
12. Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts
13. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
14. Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
15. Presenting the schedule of work to the client organization involved with the project, developing detailed yet simple to understand schedules and graphs
16. Ensuring that all the elements of the project fit together and are working towards a common aim
17. Risk Analysis, Budget & its analysis
18. Co-ordination with Site PM/ In charge
19. Understand contractual matter, earn value method, familiar with scope management and change control.
20. Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule.
21. Develop and update resource (manpower and equipment) histogram weekly or monthly as required.
22. Evaluate allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress.
23. Develop and implement plan versus actual progress charts (histograms/S curves). Reports and analyses deviations from plan.
24. Prepare and update weekly and monthly look-ahead schedule that reflect the priority activities
25. Participate all meeting ( i.e schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, constructability review meeting and so on ).

As a Planning & Cost Control Engineer my major responsibilities are:-
•Preparation & Tracking of the project master schedule and summary level curves cash flow charts, and Manpower histogram.
•Identification, monitoring & streamlining of critical paths running through the Project Master Schedule.
•Weekly/Monthly reports generation including ‘S’-curves.
•Preparation of construction & material look head schedule.
•Preparation & Updating of Forecast plan.
•Preparation of recovery program to catch up if any delays.
•Preparation of short term detailed schedule based on baseline schedule.
•Resource Planning (includes Manpower, Tools & Equipment’s etc.).
•Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverables.
•Analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern which required action of the associate task member.
•Aligning Project work scope with company structured WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
•Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project.
•Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and sub-contractors.
•Verifying the project scope, Preparation Submission of change orders for additional works, Quantity & price Negotiation with client.
•Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
•Cost control by Optimization of Resources utilization.
•Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
•Preparation & Submission of monthly Invoice.
•Coordinating with subcontractors & Vendors.
•Technical and commercial review of subcontractor’s Service agreements

Preparation& Tracking of the project master schedule and summary level curves and Manpower histogram.

Understanding project work scope, needs and deliverables, contract milestones, Estimating budget quantities, costs, durations and resources.

Aligning Project work scope with company structured WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).

Coordination with Billing Engineer.

Coordinating with subcontractors & Venders.

Project Planning, Scheduling and Preparation of WBS according to the Project scope.
Project Progress Monitoring & Reporting to the Client / HQ as part of MIS.
Preparation & Submission of Material Look Head, Activity and manpower schedules.
Budgeted Invoice Projections for E&I works.
Overall reconciliation of free issue materials as per standard norms.
Generating S curve, maintaining database.
Preparing the recovery plans.
Coordination with Planning, Billing Engineer & Preparation of S/C Bills in SAP.
Attending Client & Internal Meetings.

Operation & Maintenance of 16 MW captive power plant.

To plan & schedule the operation involved in the job.
Project Monitoring & Reporting as part of MIS.
Prepared WPR, DPR, MPR.
Resource scheduling type of (Manpower. Material, Plant)
Prepared Look Head (for Material, Manpower) for future three month.
