Job Description
Handling service calls.
Assigning daily work to service staff and supervision.
Technical evaluation of all service reports before forwarding to Service Supervisor / Coordinator for approval / quotation.
Evaluation of warranty claims.
Follow-up and coordination with customers and internal / Sales staff, where required, for service cases.
Preparing and submitting quotations for repairs.
Conduct /assist in service training for customers.
Service & trouble-shooting of pumping systems.
Commissioning of boosters / pumps.
Technical Support to Sales
Carried out Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance for the machineries in the factory.
Planning for preventive maintenance - Yearly Preventive Maintenance Frequency and Schedule, Weekly Preventive Maintenance List, Preventive Maintenance Checklists for each machines
For breakdowns, along with troubleshooting, we analyses using tools like MTBF, MTTR and tries to reduce downtime.
Job Responsibilities:
Trouble shooting of electrical problems in control circuits of machineries including electrical, electronic and PLC controls & power distribution inside the factory.
To check and order spare parts for critical machines according to the requirement in order to ensure smooth functioning of production line with minimum breakdown time of machines.
Design and estimation of electrical circuits for control panels of obsolete machines.
Selection, Installation and Setting of Variable Frequency Drives for various machines.
Responsible for Plant Maintenance Activities (Machine shop, Gas Production Plant, Powder coating and curing oven, welding sets, Injection machines, Furnaces & Fabrication Lines).
Carrying out electrical installations and the installation of machines like sand blasting Machine and equipments like cylinder marking equipment.
Maintaining records for various audits including, ISO audits of the department according to the procedures.
Maintenance Dept.- The Aluminum Industries, Switch Gear Division, Mannar
we were manufacturing High Voltage and Medium Voltage Switch Gears.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintenance of machineries, in production, including lathes, presses, painting booths etc.
Preventive maintenance for our 11kV/380V transformer.
Checking spare parts for machines and to place purchase order for consumable parts.
Got in touch with the various activities, from purchase of raw materials till outgoing of the switchgear as the end product, through the induction course conducted by the management.
