1. Collecting and analyzing data concerning students, faculty, staff, and other educational facilities.
2. Promoting institutional effectiveness and continual improvement by providing information for institutional planning, policy formation, and decision-making.
3. Providing vital data for surveys and reports from external agencies such as the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) and Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).
4. Compiling data for institutional self-study and accreditation by external agencies.
5. Defining data sets, guidelines and procedures for implementing the policies within the university.
6. Keeping track of the performance of the university and insuring performance alignment with the UAE MOE’s standards and the university strategy.
7. Contributing to the risk management process through collecting, analyzing and reporting risks, and assessing their potential impacts, followed by planning action plans.
8. Contributing to process and procedure standardization by reviewing and creating forms.
9. Contributing to information security risk management through planning, collecting and analyzing data from the various departments, then assessing risks and providing mitigation plans and procedures.
9. As per management request, an additional task was preparing the site map of the new university website in addition to gathering data for its content.
