Country Insights & Expertise:

1. Develop a deep insight of macro and micro environment in countries within the E.A Region, across Focus and Disease Areas
2. Optimise in-country visits in line with GPH objectives and strategy and as per requirements of projects and programs
3. Engagement and collaboration with healthcare workers, partners and stakeholders within the scope of the Focus and Disease areas

Program Execution:

4. Support all J&J GPH strategies in the region in the space of HIV, TB, MNCH, Mental Health
5. Collaboration with global team and external partners to ensure efficient and effective execution of activities
6. Establish and manage relationships with project/program partners (internal and external)


Logistics:
7. Support and assist Janssen Customer Services and GPH Supply Chain, with the supply chain strategy in the region as it relates to HIV or TB
8. Provide insights into market dynamics and other factors that may impact logistics requirements and supply in the region.
9. Ensure efficient and consistent communication with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders, for timely forecasting, supply and distribution of products in region.


Communication:
10. Maintain consistent cross-functional/ sector communication and sharing of information with OpCo’s and Focus/Disease Area colleagues in region
11. Communicate and leverage expertise, knowledge and best practices with other Regional Execution Leaders to ensure consistent and congruent implementation of strategies and programs
12. Provide regular feedback and a monthly report to Global Execution Leader on progress across key results areas
13. Manage regional operational budget and business planning responsibilities for the region
14. Provide input into strategy development for the region


Technical Support:
15. Provide assistance and support of the Regulatory & Pharmacovigilance requirements as may be required by the local Opco Regulatory team
16. Collaborate with the Admin Assistant and Compliance Officer to ensure all activities are appropriately approved through Health Care Compliance
17. Ensure compliance of all IT and HCBI requirements for all third party intermediaries appointed in the region
18. Ensures compliance of Regulatory, Quality, Medical Information and PV standards under the governance of JCI (SOPs, Processes) as may be required within region
19. Ensure that all training requirements that support this job function, are completed timeously.
20. Work closely with local and global Medical Affairs for assistance with queries generated from the region
21. Provides support to Medical Affairs operational elements in the region such as product awareness & medical education, pre-approval access programme, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance and medical information
22. Assisting in coordinating preparations for Corporate Internal Audit as necessary
23. Support the Due Diligence process for Third party intermediary companies

o Customer experience management; Customer Relationships & Needs Fulfillment
o Tackling customer enquiries issues to improve product and service uptake by customers
o Deliver accurate and timely escalation for customer issues and feedback needing escalation

o Establishment and maintenance of the partnership of key stakeholders; development partners, government agencies, and community based organizations in designated areas of work
o Project technical report writing
o Project financial management, budget projection, reporting and expenditure in compliance with project guidelines
o Manage, review and prioritize project work plans as per project objectives
o Manage and supervise project resources for effective implementation
o Monitor, review and report progress of implementation
o Coordinate project implementation to increase Sexual Reproductive Health access to information, services and commodities in Higher Learning Institutions

o Coordinating preventions services among MARPs in Nandi County
o Management of Behavior Change Communication (BCC) activities
o Implementation of the Families Matter! Program, Healthy Choices I and II and Community Prevention with Positives Evidence informed Behavioural interventions
o Establishment and maintenance of the partnership of key stakeholders, such as government agencies, development partners and Community Based Organizations in designated areas of work
o Writing of proposals for funding by development partners
o Planning and implementation of community mobilization
o Planning, facilitation and coordination of alumni forums for resource mobilization
