Education

Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering
  • at University of KwaZulu-Natal
  • April 2019

Course is Power Engineering including Generation, Electrical Machines, Control Systems, Power Electronics and Programming. Research was conducted to design, simulate, and implement a 10KVA Three-phase Impedance source inverter which met all power quality parameters (voltage, flicker, frequency, and harmonics) in accordance with IEC 61727 for utility-interconnected systems. Detailed design of a ZSI system was simulated using MATLAB and/or SIMULINK and the C++ source code was evaluated using Arduino on Proteus to test the algorithm. The PCB was designed using Proteus simulating software.
