· Manage daily activities - including handling materials requests, checking inventory, sourcing suppliers, RFQs and assessment and selection, issuing POs, co-coordinating shipping, and goods receiving and delivery for requester.
· Update internal procurement database with details of supplier selections and evaluation. Ensure database is up-to-date with a list of all quality approved suppliers.
· Prepare monthly SLA reports by collecting the department’s operational performance against targets and deliver it for review, approval and distribution by procurement manager.
· Ensure that Procurement negotiated prices are the best and continuously improve procurement services performance measures.
· Assisting in defining and applying new procedures and processes to enhance the workflow and add value to the procurement department.
· Develop and maintain long term relationships with suppliers.
· Client Orientation, maintaining and developing the relationships with the internal customers.
· Provide Support and guidance to Buyers.

Main Areas Handled:

- Events, Conferences, Exhibitions and TV production (Work closely with the several Events, PR and production teams to facilitate and source their entire requirement for internal and external productions. (Locations, branding, cast, models, accommodations, filming equipment, post-production services, insurance, transportation, set construction, branding, security, Aerial shooting, etc…)

- Marketing and Branding (Work closely with Marketing and Brand management teams to source out all marketing and branding requirement for all marketing campaigns (round about, branding materials, giveaways, press conferences).

Procurement Buyer (Travel) في MBC FZ LLC

- Effectively coordinate corporate and personal travel requirement for staff, executives and production teams.
- Identify most suitable as well as best quality service with best possible rates for each request received both in the UAE and worldwide.
- Coordinate groups’ travel to several worldwide exhibitions/fairs (MIP, IBC, LAscreen, and other Media related conferences).
- Develop relationships with Dubai hotels and contracted travel agency to get best deals in the interest of the company.
- Organize company’s events and functions in hotels (Providing several venue options, site visits with the marketing/events department to select the most suitable for the theme, negotiate the contract to the best interest of the company).
- Compare invoices with actual travel transactions to validate all charges.
- Resolve all travel related technical conflicts and/or incorrect charges with respect to flight tickets and hotels.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reports for hotels and tickets of the group.

- Receiving MPRs, Preparing the Scope of work for each.
- Preparing Bidding Documents.
- Receiving quotations, interviewing supplier, preparing comparison Sheets.
- Preparing Contracts.
- Handling L/Cs, Custom Clearance and Duty Exemptions.
- Coordinate with the Account Department to assure on time payment.
- Arranging the Insurance for 2 Stages (Erection Stage and Operation Stage)
- Maintain Filling System for all the documents related to the project.
