Key responsibilities:
• Working closely with the Director of Golf, meeting clients and finalizing tournament arrangements.
• Being the contact person for the client and managing the event on the day itself as well as finalizing the event in regards to payment.
• During my position as Tournament Coordinator I was leading the reception team as well as supervising the outside operations team.
Achievements:
• Worked myself in a position to become the first Tournament Coordinator at Yas Links Golf Club which is rated number 44 golf course in the world by Golf Digest.
• Yas Links reception team received excellent 59 Club results for customer service under my leadership, making them the leading reception team in the golf industry (Abu Dhabi & Dubai).
• Successfully coordinated the biggest events at Yas Links: Special Olympics, AlMansoori, UAE Presidents Cup etc.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day golf operations included positions such as on-course Marshal, Bag Drop attendant, Starter, Driving range, Staging area and closing of entire operation, with the aim to continuously exceed customer expectations by providing exemplary service.
Achievements:
• Yas Links won the award for Best Golf Club in the UAE for 2017 voted by golfers.
• Served only 6 months as a Golf Operation attendant, then got promoted as the first Tournament Coordinator at Yas Links Golf Club.
• Responsible for directing clients and giving helpful information, registering members and guests and accurate Pro Shop stock taking once a month.
