Tivoli Storage Manager Responsibilities: • Perform Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) engineering in Windows, UNIX and Linux
environments,
• Perform backup storage assessments, system design, performance analysis, capacity
planning, and disaster recovery planning,
• Troubleshoot Missed and Failed backup and do a thorough analysis for repeated failures,
• Configure and manage backup tape library units and disk based backup targets,
• Installing, upgrading, and patching backup server and clients,
• Perform Problem / Change Management,
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support of TSM environment,
• Provide knowledge transfer workshops around TSM technologies to clients,
• Edit technical documentation.
Storage Tasks: • Install and configure Dell PowerVault MD Arrays,
• Configure Brocade storage area network (SAN) switching fabric products,
• Provide knowledge transfer workshops around key SAN technologies to clients.
