I am a medical billing officer with a Health Information Coding Diploma (Coding ICD10 Diploma) and a BA in business administration . I have worked in the medical administrative field for eleven years at two hospitals; therefore, I have gained adequate experience in accounting and billing. The tasks I am able to handle include updating patients’ financial information, following up patients’ coverage, receiving and verifying hospital’s bills, reviewing patients’ medical bills, process claims in insurance or third-party administrator (TPA), and filing/archiving patients’ financial documents. The position in the accounting a billing department has also equipped me with several competencies such as advance communication skills, accountability, punctuality, and financial management.
