Perform and leads multinational technical persons in maintaining scrap processing machineries such as Shredder Machine, Baler Machines, Shear Machines, Power Generators (Caterpillar Units, Saudi Diesel), P.L.C system (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Telemecanique) U.P.S system, Fault Alarm Annunciator System, Pole lightings, Synchronizing Panels, Ring Main Units (R.M.U), Automatic Transfer Switches (A.T.S), Switchgears, 11/13.8kV Power Transformers, H.V. Motor, Gear Motors, Submersible Pumps, Transfer Pumps and Sewage Pumps, Fire Fighting Pumps, CCTV and Telephone System (Analog/Digital)
Troubleshooting and repair of offices and building appliances and equipments such as AC units (package, split and window type), microwave oven, refrigerators, coolers/heaters, water heaters and water pumps
Electrical equipment fault finding and repair, modification or new installations of machine’s control and power wirings
Fault finding and corrections of telephone and CCTV system including installation of
Fiber optic cable, converters and switches, network hub, network switches and routers
Pulling, lay out and terminations of power cables and control wirings. Installations of electrical devices such as switches, magnetic contactors, control and distribution boxes, circuit breakers (MCCB, ACB, MCB, MPCB) relays, solenoids, conduits and fittings, light and power panels, lighting units and power outlets
Routine inspections of plant electrical installations, initiation and distribution of task to electricians and provide them tools, materials and safety precautions in doing the given job and ensuring that the work is being done efficiently and according to acceptable electrical standards
Maintain oral communication report to superiors regarding the status of the given job. Works as a team member on job planning
Preparing electronic reports and recommendations for safety and optimum performance of plant facilities and machineries to immediate superiors
Electrical troubleshooting and repair of domestic equipments in accommodation, kitchen and laundry area such as AC units (package, split and window type) refrigerators, coolers/chillers, walk-in freezer water heaters, food warmers, convection ovens, dishwasher machines, microwave ovens, hot plates, fat fryer, meat chopper & grinder machines, potato peeler, floor buffing machines, vacuum pumps, washing machines, steam press, electric and steam dryer machines
Reading electrical drawings, laying out and termination of wires and cables, installation of electrical devices and equipments such as light and power panel boards, convenient outlets, lighting fixtures, switches, relays, timers, circuit breakers, disconnects, fuses, magnetic contactors, motor control and power wirings
Performing preventive maintenance on equipments in hospital facilities such as Boiler House, Power Plant, Sewage and Water Treatment Plant, U.P.S. (Uninterruptible
Power Supply) Switchgears, A.T.S. (Automatic Transfer Switch) C.S.P. (Central Switch Panel) M.C.C. (Motor Control Center) motors and electrical panels to evaluate equipment conditions, do necessary actions needed and initiate a service request to related engineering section, for the non electrical job, in order to rectify faults and possible damages that may occur later
Working on shifts and carry out emergency service request called out from the B.A.S. (Building Automation System) and Work Control Section including works on but not limited to Electrical Power and Lighting system, HVAC, BMS, Boilers, RO and Sewage Plant
Maintenance, plant wiring and installation of electrical devices and equipments such as machine’s electrical control circuits for conveyors, induction motors, variable speed motor controller, light and power panel boards, lighting fixtures, oil heater/boiler controls
Minor mechanical works on plant installed machineries such as conveyors, resin pumps, air compressors, vacuum pumps, lapping machine, boiler unit and oil pumps
Troubleshooting and repair of offices and building appliances and equipments such as AC units (package, split and window type), microwave oven, refrigerators, coolers/heaters, water heaters and water pumps
Carries out other duties such as ordering and purchasing maintenance materials such as bearings, belts and pulleys, gears, shafts, oil, grease and electrical parts such as magnetic contactors, circuit breakers, fuses, lamps, outlets and switches
Operation of diesel engine power generating units (total plant capacity 4.9MW) which includes timely gathering of unit instrument readings in the synchronization panels such as kilowatt meter, power factor, voltage, frequency, load currents and engine parameters such as engine temperature, oil pressure and running hours
Initiate paralleling and shutting off unit as the load increases or decreases respectively, based regularly in the daily load graph through proper procedure in performing each task.
Performing maintenance and repair works on plant equipments. Maintenance includes oil refilling and changing, battery’s electrolyte level, air and fuel filters, radiator’s coolant refilling. Repairs includes fuel feed pumps, radiator cooling fan, generator’s control protection circuits and devices such as switches, circuit breakers, relays, contactors, potentiometers, panel meters and electronic control circuits
Scanning of plant premises during the tour of duty and take necessary actions to rectify any fault found such as status of the plant/perimeter lightings, circuit breakers status, radiator running conditions, reservoir and day tank status and fuel levels. And keep the tidiness and cleanliness of engine and control room, control panels and plant equipments
Electrical wiring and installation of electrical devices and equipments such as electric motors, circuit breakers and disconnects, magnetic contactors light and power circuits, electrical conduits and fittings, plugs and convenient outlets
Troubleshooting, repair and modification of machine’s electrical controls such as motor control circuits and associated electrical and electronic devices as well as carrying out mechanical repairs such as replacement of motors and motor parts, gears, shafts, bearings, oil seals, valves, belts, pulleys and pneumatic devices
Carries out other duties such as purchasing of maintenance materials, electrical and mechanical replacements parts for equipments as well as technical field services such as commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of sold out equipments at customer site
