Main Duties and Responsibilities:
● Answer phone calls and assist on patient queries and needs.
● Organize appointments and bookings for patient
● Organize booking for classes for the patients (e.g Antenatal Classes), make sure that the class facilitator needs
are well arranged such as venue, meals for the participants and gift bags.
● Prepares Medical report, Laboratory report and Radiology report as per patient request, also to assist for Insurance approval for patient stay.
● Responsible for patient daily procedure, medicine and consumables charging on the system.
● Make sure that the consumable stocks and medicine stocks in the ward are efficient for daily use.
● Doing monthly statistical report of admitted and discharged patients.
● Registering birth notification for new born baby to assist patient for government birth certificate.
● Assist in preparing sick leave for patient for on line attestation.
● Assisting medical staff in completing and submission of their learning and development document and forms for submission.
● Assisting unit manager in doing the system Time and Schedule by inputting staff daily attendance, sick leave, annual leave, overtime, and absence.
● Maintain department documents and calendars such as meetings, special memos, new policies as well doctors on leave.
● Does inventory and ordering to ensures all consumables items, medicines, non medical items like stationeries are all adequate for daily use.
● Maintain efficient documents filing system and ensure logs and standard report are up to date.
• 2 years of experience in coding: Outpatient and Dental records
• Familiar with ICD-9 & ICD-10, CPT-4, CDT and HCPCS code
• Knowledge of e-Claim and medical billing in the UAE
• Good communication and typing skills
• Experience with computer and software, specifically MS office
• Effectively communicate, orally and writing necessary information and ideas to people from all walks of life.
• Equipped with competence, leadership and excellent management capability.

• Create an inviting environment to clients by providing excellent friendly, cheerful and ever helpful service.
• Create a functional front office environment for all staff.
• Ensure appropriate handling of patient inquiries like; Schedule of consultation, laboratory and consultation tariff. How to get into the location.
• Maintain client’s schedules and appointment.
• Responsible for patient registration and proper filling of registration forms specially:
• Send out medical records per request of patient (or with authorization of patient concerned.) And follow up for laboratory and radiology results for patient.
• Responsible for phone enquires outgoing and incoming.
• Responsible for checking and verification of insurance cards.
• Communicates with different insurance companies regarding approvals (through telephone, fax, or e-mail, ) eligibility and classification.
• Prepares insurance forms for clinic claims and correspondence.
• Prepares insurance claim form before insurance due date of filling. Thru E-claims services
• Maintain clinic files according to clinic standards.
• Conduct client’s satisfaction surveys (complains, suggestions and feedback forms) and take immediate action by informing concern personnel regarding matters related to it.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
• Makes authenticated Billing and Responsible for cash and card collections, and Insurance Claims
