Pre Tender Stage
Study, Review & Check Tender Documents (Tender Drawings, Tender Specifications & Client BOQ) received from Estimation Head.
Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare Tender.
Preparation and analyzation of costing for Tender.
Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries / material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
Prepare and submit to specified person RFI’s for additional information.
Identifying material description & taking the require quantity to prepare a costing for a certain Joinery Items.
Attend technical / coordination meetings necessary for the project.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, project consultant, main contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments on the plan.
Prepare Price BOQ & Technical Documents for Tender submission.
Submit Project Pre Tender Offer.
Post Tender Stage
Review & check received post tender documents to identify all changes / additional works or materials as require by received tender documents.
Check submission date for the Tender QS to prepare and make work program.
Identify, prepare and submit to the concern person Request for Clarification for any works or material that needs to be clarified, any additional drawings and material specification sheets that is not included on received tender documents.
Prepare Value Engineering offer and Compliance offer as per received updated tender documents.
Prepare and issue enquiries for material supply and advise them to provide alternative offer as per provided updated material specification sheet.
Make changes on the price boq by adjusting rates on the finishes, man hours & installation on site as per received updated material specification sheets.
Make quantity take off to verify the quantity inside price boq.
If require, identify items not listed on the boq but shown on drawings and prepare tender adjustments for this matter.
If needed, prepare and submit request for extension of time for tender submission.
Submit Project Post Tender Offer.
Examining contract documents (Post Tender Clarifications, Tender Addendums,
Specification Sheets, LOA’s & Final BOQ’s) on award of contract.
Analyse, undertake qty take off & provide solutions on materials mentioned on final BOQ
whose qty are not equal compare to Tender Issue Drawings.
Preparing and agreeing payments applications/valuations so that payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract conditions/ Works progress.
Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with relevant substantiation
and documents as per contract obligations.
Analyze and Recommend Subcontract payment application based on actual progress of
S/C work.
Identifying the changes in the scope of works, notify the concerned parties, manage & value the claims for submission and agreement of variation claims.
Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the
satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer.
Coordinate with project managers, design team, regarding status of subcontract works
and variation orders.
If require, preparation of “Cost Value Reconciliation” a price comparison between the
measured actual cost against the value of the work including profit.
Provide advice on procurement/purchasing strategy.
Allocate works to subcontractors/suppliers.
Maintain logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders.
