On behalf of our client (Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu), I assist the Project Manager to assure the execution/project management the above contract,
• PIC K-1801 Construction of Royal Commission Headquarters at Madinat Yanbu al Sinaiyah

Working as Construction Manager and in full coordination with the construction team, some of my duties include,
• Coordinate project activities and regularly having meetings with internal RC departments, architects, engineers, contractors and consultants
• Monitor and control the construction scope of work
• Supervise contractors to ensure that the work is accurate, complete, in compliance with the plans, and conforms to RC specifications and construction quality standards

On behalf of our client (Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu), and assisting my Resident Engineer, it is my commitment to assure the execution/project management of several contracts.
Working as ARE, I supervise a team of 12 Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), and some of my duties include,
• Consider constructability issues continuously throughout the design stage and assure all construction issues are clarified prior to the NTP, minimizing any hypothetical negative impact of the contractor's work on site
• Reviewing the project plan, specifications, budget and schedule for all assigned contracts prior to the construction phase
• Assist the Resident Engineer in all aspects, and specially overseeing the contract schedule, monitoring the construction progress and implement corrective actions as appropriate to ensure all work is finished within the approved Project Schedule
• Coordinate project activities and regularly having meetings with internal RC departments, architects, engineers, contractors and consultants
• Monitor and control the construction scope of work
• Act as client’s representative for compliance with international codes and construction standards
• Monitor the status of TQ´s, TS´s, FCD´s and assure the reply is adequate and issued on a timely manner;
• Supervise contractors to ensure that the work is accurate, complete, in compliance with the plans, and conforms to RC specifications and construction quality standards
• Review and approve the monthly´s contractors invoice for payment

• 628-C34 Schools Improvements (34 SCHOOLS, 73 MOSQUES AND 1 SKATEPARK)
• 628-C38 Schools Improvements, PH2 (32 SCHOOLS AND 3 KINDERGARTENS)
• 641-C46 Rehabilitation of Hospital Building and 2 clinics

My assignment was to assure construction management to local contractors, on behalf of our client (Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu) on 608-C11 & 531-C71 contracts in Jubail Industrial City.

As Senior Construction Engineer, some of my responsibilities were,

• Review project plans, specifications, budget and schedule for all assigned contracts
• Provide clarification to contractor’s technical queries during the construction phase
• Review pre-execution project package on interdisciplinary coordination issues, and assure its accuracy in order to eliminate any potential delay in the construction phase
• Assist the RE, ARE in the selection of contractor´s key personnel, by reviewing their CVs, and undertake respective interviews
• Coordinate project activities with internal departments in RC, AE, engineers, and contractors in order to expedite the work and minimize any potential delay
• Assist in the development of project´s schedule, monitoring all construction progress, and assure corrective actions are taken ensuring works are executed within the approved Project Schedule
• Implement the zero re-work program, by implementing the elaboration of REAL CARDS in all contracts
• Consider constructability issues continuously throughout the review of the IFC package drawings versus the scope of work
• Assist the contractor to expedite the necessary technical queries/technical submittals, and in a later stage monitor the status of TQ´s, TS´s, FCD´s
• RC has a Zero Accident Policy, in sequence, assuring top priority on safety related issues, such as assisting with the correct Starrt Cards
• Review Civil, Electrical, Mechanical technical submittals/Method Statements, and assuring RC team is well committed with this process
• Provide feed-back to the RE, ARE and ACM concerning all aspects of the performance of the contractor or any safety/quality concern that might affect the schedule

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
- Project representative to the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu in all aspects of 097-C32 Project
- Working coordinated with the 097-C32 Technical Team, assuring clarification is given in a short period of time, prior to field execution and the most accurate possible.
- Study/review the Architectural, Structural IFC Drawings & RC Specifications, making sure Construction Team will have the correct information to proceed with the works on site and in time.
- Assuring contractors comply with the delivery of shop-drawings, documentation, so that submittals can be expedited on time and according to the schedule.
- Prepare documents/ CAD drawings that are required for the start-up of the project such as Shop Drawings and assure the execution of the As Built Drawings
- Discuss and get approval from RC engineering, technical proposals which requires more rigorous and depth approach.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
• Inspect and review the construction project to ensure compliance with safety codes and building code regulations.
• Ensure that the work is getting done efficiently and within quality standards.
• Coordinate all parties involved which include the architects, consultants, subcontractors and workers.
• Responsible for hiring and supervising workers.
•Plan and allocate the required resources to the project and site engineers for completing work in accordance with the project requirement to meet the work schedule.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost reports.
• Responsible for requisition supplies and materials to complete the construction project.
• Monitor and oversee the budget, meeting deadlines and costs to ensure the execution of several projects

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
• Manage the project budget, writing contracts, approving invoices and updating the project schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and help to resolve any issues or conflicts that could arise.
• Ensure that the work is getting done efficiently and within quality standards.
• Coordinate all parties involved, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and workers.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to his Production Manager.
• Field coordination between the foremans and surveyors in accomplishing daily work.
• Regular liaison with architects, engineers and other members of his site team.
• Responsible for taking actions and deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
• Ensure that work is done safely, on time, within budget and to the right quality standards.
• Coordination between the technical office and the construction site.
• Responsible for hiring and supervising workers.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Construction Manager.
• Ensure that materials are available before time in order to avoid any interruption of the works, and confirm that the materials comply with specifications.
• Follow up the daily tests results with the laboratory and quality management.
• Ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements.
• Ensure construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
• Regular liaison with architects, engineers and other members of his site team.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
• Oversee the construction site from start to finish.
• Responsible for the next day programmes in order to ensure sufficient work-front available for the foreman and so that quality standards are met.
• Supervision and participation in the implementation of contractor's health, safety and environment management system.
• Assists the senior construction manager in the establishment and management of health and safety program, identifying and eliminating/controlling any hazards to persons and property.
• Ensure that the projects are delivered before or at least on time with quality standards.
• Responsible for ordering materials on the construction site.
• Ensure that all the works carried out are done in accordance to the latest approved drawings and program of work.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
• Responsible for ordering materials on the construction site.
• Communicate effectively with the subcontractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Ensure that all works are as per drawings & specification.
• Make daily reports, follow up the productivity of the site providing the company’s planning department with these reports.
• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor.
