Actually the job description shows part of the responsibilities which is checking the quantities of any tender received to be submitted.
Furthermore, sending to subcontractors/suppliers and getting quotations are part of the work.
After getting the quotations, making comparisons and negotiation with sub-contractors, I price and submit the offer to the client.
Nov2011- Sept 2012 Supervising Engineer in constructing a Multipurpose Hall and classes at Holy Family School of an area 1045 square meter.
Responsibilities: * Supporting and monitoring in tendering.
* Supervising the execution of work.
* Coordinating between all parties.
* Preparing the payments and bills
* Preparing daily and monthly reports for the Donors.
During this period I have preparing many bill of quantities for other projects such as rehabilitation of kindergarten, church and handicapped children and old people houses.
Aug 2010- Oct 2011 Project coordinator in rehabilitation and renovation projects of old houses and houses that affected by wars.
Responsibilities: * Preparing reports before and after renovations.
* Preparing the Bill Of quantities and the bid documents.
* Following up the execution of the projects.
* Quantity surveying and preparing bills and payments.
