• Provide medical services to patients to maintain good health and deal effectively with acute or chronic problems.
• Provide care according to agreed standards, policies and procedures. .
• Ensures the patients records are maintained in a comprehensive, legible, relevant and professional manner.
• Rendered bedside care, providing comfort to the patient.
• Provides necessary nursing care to the patient using proper judgment.
• Monitoring of vital signs and recording accurately.
• Open and professional communication with the doctors pertaining to patients’ condition.

• Ensure the availability of narcotics before endorsing to the next shift.
• Insert Intravenous line
• Assists in Ultrasonography
• Handling post operative patient.
• Changing wound dressing aseptically..
• Assists and encourage post operative patient for early mobilization and rendering hygienic care until they are self caring.
• Performs pre operative procedures such as surgical skin preparation, giving enemas, and urinary catheterization aseptically.
• Observe and follow the standard infection control technique:
- strict isolation precaution
- contact / direct isolation precaution
- respiratory isolation precaution
- blood and body fluids precaution
- enteric isolation precaution
- drainage and secretion precaution
- reverse isolation precaution
