• Act as liaison between engineering and shop to foster closer working relationship.
• Assist in delivering successful projects with regards to customer satisfaction, time and budget.
• Communicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers and competition.
• Develop processes to help support our team growth.
• Help resolve engineering issues as they arise by working closely with the engineering team, vendors and the shop.
• Creates and modifies 3D and 2D drawings as needed and perform calculations.
• Attend scheduled meetings on time.
• Responsible for analyzing, testing and evaluating products related to business.
• Supports new programs and performs appropriate engineering support during the prototype, pilot and launch phases for each project.
• Maintains correct engineering and technical disciplines.
• Handles technical modifications and engineering changes.
• Supports compliance to customer and product requirements.
• Able to do multi-tasking from 3D to 2D works.
• Prepare the piping routing design basis conforming to recommended specifications.
• Generate arrangement and isometric drawing including Bill of Materials for fabrication.
• Design mechanical skids arrangement and general layout.
• Good knowledge in piping construction standards, pipe codes and P&ID.
• Performs 3D pipe routing and machinery layouts based on the technical specifications and standards.
• Assist and update models based on the client reviews/comments, checked drawings and unseen clashes.
• Coordinates with other engineering team members on technical issues and design solutions.
• Generates detailed engineering drawings with accurate dimensions for fabrication and installation purposes.
• Understands Class rules and Piping Construction standards.
• Does 3D equipment modeling and pipe modeling through SM3D.
• Extracts isometric drawings from 3D model.
