RESPONSIBILITIES:
• • Managing sales of 1.2 million BHD per month through both local Customers (based in Bahrain) as well as export Customers (based in KSA, Egypt, Netherlands, Angola, Jordan, Syria, Yemen, Kuwait, UAE & Oman)
• Hired, trained & developed sales team in order to have a sustainable sales structure which was earlier not there, and mostly sales was being handled by a single person - one man show
• Designed and set targets for the sales team to achieve overall targeted sales with continuous follow up & intervention wherever required
• Build & maintain strong relationships with the Customers for Flexible Packaging based in Bahrain as well as other GCC, African & few of European Countries
• Exploring opportunities to develop new Customers through participation in Exhibitions related to Flexible Packaging especially in GCC & Africa - recently exhibited on behalf of Manama Packaging Industry in Saudi Food Show held at Riyadh KSA from 20th to 22nd June 2023, in 24th PPP (Plastics, Printing & Packaging) Expo Africa Dar es Salam Tanzania from 19th to 21st October 2023 & lately in Gulf Food Manufacturing held at Dubai World Trade Center from 7th to 9th November 2023.
• Maintain and enhance existing sales and develop new sales opportunities
• Periodic relationship reviews with key customers by in-person visits and regular follow-up by mail/phone
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing national level portfolio of Punjab and North region having annual sales of over 6 billion PKR.
• Having proven track record of increasing sales year on year from PKR 3.5 billion in 2017 to PKR 6 billion in 2021 with
the CM increase from PKR 850 million in 2017 to PKR 1.4 billion in 2021.
• Leading team of 8 sales officers in direct reporting. Responsible for hiring right person in team.
• Analyzing market potential for niche products with focus of developing high contribution jobs.
• Ensuring continuous improvement in sales results using PDCA approach. Using frame works to capture data,
identifying top problem and chalking out way forward accordingly.
• Build & maintain strong relationships with the Customers for Folding Cartons based in North & Punjab Regions of
Pakistan, resulting in Business enhancement.
• Development of 3 years strategy for Sales in the region by performing detailed market Analysis & Customer
satisfaction Survey thus identifying & working on specific areas before time to meet 3 years sales targets
• Focusing on share enhancement with existing Customers along with development of new Customers
• Ensure recovery of payments within agreed timelines with each Customer
• Ensure that RSF (Rolling Sales Forecast) is punched timely in SAP for raw material ordering - Currently RSF accuracy is
more than 70% that has resulted in reduced working capital cost for the Business Unit.
• Working in close coordination with the support departments in-house so as to provide excellent Services to the
Customers and maximizing OTIF (On time In Full)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain relationships with the Key Account- Pakistan Tobacco Company (PKR 2 billion per Annum Customer) - the
Largest valued Customer for Business Unit
• Responsible to meet Customer’s expectations wrt Quality & Services by acting as a point of contact between
Customer & support functions in-house
• Ensuring recovery of payments (within 30 days) after material is dispatched
• Ensuring Vendor Managed Inventory for Key Account by effective timely planning
• Identifying new potential Customers, touch, develop and maintain relationships with them so as to increase
Customer portfolio
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Providing Services to the Top Customers (including Unilever, Nestle & Pakistan Tobacco Company) by ensuring
timely deliveries & enhancing OTIF.
• Close co-ordination with Customer’s planners for material connectivity at their end & expediting orders at Packages
end whenever required. Also provided VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) services by acting as a bridge between
Customer & Packages production planners
• Reduction in lead times through RSF accuracy improvement
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Better coordination with production team thus reducing changeovers, wastages & hence enhancing productivity
• Better coordination with sales team to ensure finished goods transfers as per lead times and committed dates of
sales orders
• Effective raw material procurement hence reducing working capital cost
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for Lean manufacturing through machines efficiency (OEE) enhancement by working on waste
reduction, product quality & machine speeds
• Implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) concept on floor
Responsibilities- Sales, Marketing, Installation & Commissioning of Instrumentation Systems.
Final project: Designed a portable weather detection system to detect temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction & sunny or cloudy Day using electronic sensors capitalizing the knowledge of instrumentation. Term Projects: 1. Conveyor belt intelligent to recognize & guide objects of different heights to their corresponding paths. 2. Color sensor 3. Speed and direction control of a DC motor using PWM.
