Highlights:
Manage Procurement of all technical computer related equipment’s. Manage and maintain all computers, printers, network and network devices. Looking after two sites (Pakistan cement and Dg Khan housing society) equipment’s at time. Manage technical procurement.
Key Responsibility
• Install, Maintain, Support and troubleshoot windows server (Active Domain).
• Install software and trouble-shoot/maintain computer hardware and other IT equipment.
• Update, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, networks/Internet/Intranet connections and Windows.
• Maintain regular backups of office data, and periodically test their restoration.
• Assist local office managers in properly inventorying IT equipment.
• Advise staff on safekeeping of IT equipment.
• Advise and follow up in all IT related procurement processes.
• Supervise IT consumables (Inks, toners, headers) and spare parts purchase Management.
• Install and configure new and upgraded desktop and laptop computers for both local and remote users.
• Provide user training/education, both one-on-one and in classroom on company standard software products (like GDMS, PCS GDES & ACCPAC).
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Analyze the information needs of the organization and develop technological solutions to satisfy those needs.
• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
• Managing crisis situation, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems and disaster recovery.
• Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
• Ensure that IT First line support activities are offered at the best level.
• Establishes and maintains standards for use, operation, and security of network, personal computers, and data.
• Consults with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
• Scheduling upgrades hardware and security backups of software systems.
• Ensuring the smooth running of all systems including anti-virus software, print services and email provision.
• Ensuring the security of data from internal and external from hackers by upgrading firewall.
• Providing users with appropriate support and advice and Train users and technical staff to ensure effective usage of the systems.
• Managing the purchase of hardware and software products to ensure the needs of the business.
• Maintain data integrity, virus protection, backups and handle disaster recovery procedures.
• Analyze user problems, determine root causes, troubleshoot, direct to appropriate problem resolution teams and follow up.
• Maintain all aspects of the IT infrastructure including servers, switches, desktop systems, storage Devices, printers, client systems, software and Hardware.
• Monitor the entire IT environment for faults and warning conditions.
• Ensure data and systems remain safe, secure, and backed up.
• Manage help desk and technical support for internal and field staff.
