o Acts as prime technical architect consultant/leader on critical assignments that impact long term goals and objectives.(e.g. MDM & Data warehouse implementation Strategies)
o Design, manage, plan and implement enterprise architectural solutions, methodologies and standards for high performance, scalability and high availability solutions and information sharing. (E.g. Enterprise Data Hub, Standardizing on PPDM, PODS, etc.).

o Data modeling (logical and physical), implementation, tuning and developing / managing various Metadata using SAP Information Steward V4.1 and Sybase Power Designer 16.5).
o Analyzed the business requirements for data governance in the E&P area, prepared the scope of work for an initial study, tendered the requirements, selected a suitable vendor and directed the implementation.
o Adopted the PPDM data model as the standard source for a virtual data abstraction layer to expose E&P data to business users and to standardize naming conventions across systems.
o Mentored / managed group of Emirati developers, System Admin and architects. Principal member in the project of defining the suitable syllabus and the levels of competencies required along the way of developing fresh Emirati graduates.
o Setup development project’s data modeling standards, central repository, templates and releasing stage-gates from the data management points of view.
o Analyzed the business requirements for data analytics and scheduled the implementation priorities for data domains considering user’s urgent pain-points.
o Coordinate and manage the deployment strategy for third party solutions, identify and resolve issues, apply knowledge and experience considered necessary for smooth implementation. (E.g. NO more data islands concept. In-flight data retrieval from source systems with an integration data Hub)
o Recommend and work with high profile vendors on architecture design, deployment, integration, automation and maintenance of required solutions (e.g. Informatica).
o Preparation and definition of business cases reviews (E.g. MDM use-cases) and validating the technical & functional requirements. Setup proof of concept projects for potential solutions.
o Defined, scheduled and directed ADCO’s projects for Data quality checking and cleansing.
o Continuously align IT with data management strategies, perform gap analysis, risk assessment and improve overall enterprise IT practices and standards (TOGAF Framework).
o Proactively work with users on best implementation and integration of products (E.g. EDM WELL Schematic diagram).
o Identify and communicate implementation risks, provide early stage alternatives and proactively correspond to upper managements (E.g. Data profiling for WELL Integrity Data Assessment solution).

As a Team Leader (Databases) I was responsible for planning, implementing, integrating, quality-assuring, managing and controlling ADMA-OPCO data and information flow across the ERP applications beside the physical implementation & maintenance of all company databases.
Took over various application development responsibilities in the areas of data/functional analysis, System Design, Project Management, Development teams’ leadership, Database Consultancy, Data Management and Database Administration using a comprehensive list of Oracle tools ending with Oracle Grid Control 10g Release-2. In addition to the quality assurance responsibility of all in-house developed applications and databases’ design using Oracle’s latest Case tools and development tools.
