♦ Notify and draft claims/variation orders to the clients and prepare cost breakdown, substantiations, and narratives in accordance with contract T&C and and company governance process.
♦ Participate in senior internal project review meetings and provide recommended mitigation actions.
♦ Prepare project progress reports to the clients and meetings minutes.
♦ Monitor the progress of the project schedule on all aspects to ensure critical issues are identified early and resolved quickly to meet the contractual milestones.
♦ Review monthly schedule updates and provide guidance/reply to contractual issues affecting progress of works.
♦ Lead the development and implementation of Contract Management Strategy Plan by identifying risks & opportunities to ensure delivering the project on time and within budget.
♦ Develop KPIs related to claims & variation orders and maintain record of events affect the schedule.
♦ Direct and mentor Contract Administrator in all contract management process.
♦ Analyze all incoming correspondence, define the strategy, and draft necessary reply.
Key Projects: In-charge of two major Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects in Ontario Province with total value over CAD 500M which involves design, manufacturing, supply, deliver, test, and commission of trains for:
I. Finch West Light Rail Transit Project in Toronto city with Metrolinx with Revue Service in Sep 2023.

•Four Lines Modernization (4LM) Rail Project in London, the UK. The Project upgrades the signaling system of London Underground railway to SelTrac CBTC System which covers 300 km of track. The Contract format is NEC3 ECC Option C with Target Price ~ CAD 1.3BN.
SNC - LAVALIN - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Reported to the Projects Director and was in charge of managing the Prime Contracts with the Clients and Subcontracts to build industrial district cooling plants on EPC/Turnkey basis in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Some projects include chilled water piping networks, power transmission towers, Thermal Energy Storage Tanks, and power substation buildings with the value of some projects exceed CAD 200M each.

Selected Contributions:
•At bid stage, prepared Request for Proposal (RFP) for subcontracts; ensuring the Scope of Works, commercial terms, schedule, and BoQs are complete and secure the company’s interests.
•Managed the awarded prime contracts and subcontracts in construction stage to ensure compliance with contract conditions and delivering projects on time and within budget.
•Worked with Project team in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating changes to the Scope of Work as well variation orders and claims.
•Analyzed and refuted claims against the company and managed claims raised by the company through ensuring the required level of substantiations and quantifications are provided.
•Monitored projects progress to ensure completion on time and within the budget.
•Reviewed the insurance policies and bank guarantees related to the projects.
•Evaluated the work progress and processed the interim monthly progress payments.
•Supervise and mentor Contract Administrators during construction stage.

Key projects to credit:
•ARAMCO District Cooling Scheme (Saudi Arabia): EPC/Turnkey project which includes cooling plant with capacity 32K RT, 14km of chilled water piping network, electrical substation, high voltage transmission lines of 4km, 14 Energy Transfer Stations and a tubular steel Thermal Energy Transfer (TES) tank with capacity 18, 000 m3.
•King Abdullah Financial District Project (Saudi Arabia): A joint venture with Saudi Tabreed based on DBO FIDIC contract (Gold format) for two district cooling plants with capacity 40K RT/plant, which includes four tubular steel Thermal Energy Transfer (TES) tanks with capacity 5K RT/each.
•Central Market Cooling Plant (UAE): EPC/Turnkey project for a multistory cooling plant with capacity 35K Refrigerant Ton (RT) and 132/11kV Electrical Substation in Abu Dhabi. The Project consists of a single building shared between the cooling plant and the Electrical Substation constructed on an area of 2, 400 m2 with two basements 12m deep.
