Leading Regional HR Operations and working closely with Regional Managing Director and other department heads.
Managing organization development (OD) in the division of HR as whole in MENA of manpower planning, training development, employee relation, compensation and benefits total rewards.
Review existing HR Policies, Procedures and Practices detailed in the Employee Handbooks.
Oversee the management of personnel records including benefits, insurance and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, employee transfers, performance reviews, terminations and employee statistics etc.
Provide specialist employee relations advice and guidance to Service Areas with particular respect to disciplinary, grievance and absence, to ensure acceptable levels of individual employee performance.
Working closely with departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Developing and customizing Job Descriptions, HR Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook.
Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Assisting Department Heads in identifying and engineering current process.
Develop, re-engineer and align all processes as needed to develop Workflow Module.
Train Department Heads on Workflow Module to reach optimum performance and cost efficient business.
Advise on handling redeployment and redundancy situations in respect of recruitment practice, contracts of employment, terms and conditions of employment, remuneration, resourcing, policies and procedures in order to enable fair consistent and effective management of human resources.
Guide the managers and other employees in matters related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, work ethics and performance management.
o Regularly report to the General Manager on use and requirement of resources
o Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
o Manage all staff within the Section in performing their delegated tasks;
oOptimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned tasks and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
o Devise work plans and schedules pertaining to the Section
oInvolved in the Cost Reduction Plan introduced by Management
oDevelops and maintains the company grading systems so that they fully contribute to the needs of the HR Department.
oBrief Managers and employees on how to prepare Job Descriptions to meet the requirements of the specific system. Checks adequacy of job descriptions and ensures that doubtful job information and discrepancies in duties are clarified.
oPrepares necessary submissions for the Job Evaluation Committee, and actions their decisions
oProvides technical support and backup in such personnel areas as payroll documents, employee records, classification, compensation, benefits administration

oPerform periodic performance appraisals for line reports and other staff and prepare Section performance reports for review by the GENERAL MANAGER .
oArranging engineers relocation to the different rig locations
oNegotiating with Travel agents for fare rates and arrange tickets

oHandled the following HR Programs:, Job Family, reward management, Internal Equity Review, resource Utilization Analysis, Gaining insight in the drivers of employee commitment (Employee engagement and satisfaction).
o Design and apply new policies i.e. Recruitment, Inducement, induction, promotion, succession planning.

•Identifying and highlighting Quality losses to DGM and proposed action plan.
•Planning, organizing and performing Quality Audits, prepare reports and follow-up action.
•Identifying causes of non-conformities and proposing appropriate solution not only for correcting it but also for preventing the same in future.
•Arranging Management Review Meeting and highlight the Quality losses identified.
•Ensure that the Health, Safety & Environmental Protection System is perfectly implemented in all locations by conducting regular audits.
•Carry out the investigation for any accident/incident/near miss and take the proposed corrective actions.
•Ensures that Safety Training courses are provided to all the employees whichever related to their job activities.
•Conducts site visits & HSE audits on frequent basis and identifies any deficiency found during the audit & proposes the required corrective actions.
•Provides advice, monitoring and assisting the supervisors and Engineers on safety aspects.
•Reporting to QHSE&HR Manager.
•Assists the QHSE&HR Manager with the recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes and sends appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner
•Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references in order to determine applicants' employment acceptability.
•Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
•Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information
•.Ensures that IMS policies are distributed /communicated to all employees at all locations.
•Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
•Ensures that IMS policies are understood by all employees & explaining the same to them.
•Carries out safety inspections & audits on all work sites in the different locations on frequent basis or when it is required to ensure IMS is strictly implemented in all the company's work sites.
•Ensures that employees are aware of safety rules & regulations.
•Conducting safety orientation for new employees.
•Carry out the investigation for any accident/incident/near miss and take the proposed corrective actions after HSQA.
•Ensures that Safety Training courses are provided to all the employees whichever related to their job activities
•Ensure that the P.P.E. are supplied according to the international standards approved by the client & the related activities carried out on the specific location
• Reporting to QHSE& HR Officer.
• Search employee files in order to obtain information for authorized persons and organizations, such as credit bureaus and finance companies.
• Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment
• Arrange for in-house and external training activities.
• Administer and score applicant and employee aptitude, personality, and interest assessment instruments.
• Considered the contact person in EWPSCo. for any quires regarding / concerning IMS documentation /correspondence.
• Plans and assists conducting monthly new hire orientation programs
• Assists finding housing units for staff
• The custodian of the IMS System maintaining the relevant correspondence.
• Assists in updating the HSE manual and associates procedures, implementation format per the latest amended version by the management to incorporate latest reviews.
• Considered the security of all IMS related meetings (i.e. safety, Ops. committee, and Management meetings). Prepare the agenda per management advice, and record, distribute & follow up the actions of the recommendations.
• Receives feedback and data, prepare statistics / reports / recommendations for HSQA and management instruction and action as appropriate.
• Receives accident / near miss reports, after HSQA and management review to circulate recommendations to concerned parties. Follow up progress of course of action and report to HSQA..
