Scope of Work: to Carry out Engineering Tasks in different phases of the project.
My job role is to Manage Piping Layouts, Materials, Constructability, Production, Feasibility,
Interface and Engineering deliverable as a Piping System Engineer Lead in order to Support
Engineering and Construction. Additional Responsibilities include Coordination between Head
Office and Site Engineering Department and conducting meetings in order to ensure
constructability Plans.
Manage on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen/modelers in order to carry out the
Piping and Layout part of the installations and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in
accordance with technical and schedule targets, under responsibility of the project Piping and
layout leader.
Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with
the QA/QC and HSE requirements
Design/execute/check the typical Piping and Layout studies including: 3D modelling
and 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report
Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping
networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement,
piping isometrics and piping supports)
Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model
Checking and finalizing Bill of materials or material take off
Design & flow check of isometrics
Checking and commenting on vendor drawings
Pipe routing studies for Pumps, exchanger, column, vessels & compressor
Co-ordinate the work of team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project
Check the input data and all the documents and information issued by team
Check permanently that all the assumptions upon which his team work is based keep
up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any
detected anomaly
Supervise documents updating after comments issued by other disciplines (interdiscipline
checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons
learned during the project
During Construction and start up coordinate the field engineering activities with home
office, Material Management at site and Engineering support during construction phase

Presently am working with Al-Tuwairqi Group as Erection & Commissioning Project Mechanical Engineer on their Installation of 1.4 MT Arab Steel Company Project Phase-I.
Responsibilities:
 Ladle Transfer Car Rail installation, alignment and fixing.
 Erection of Twin Shell DC Electric Arc Furnace (EAF).
 Planning and Execution of erection work.
 Managing Labor, Equipments and Materials.
 Preparing day to day, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports of erection progress.
 Coordination with Civil and Electrical Departments.
 Technical Training of Foremen and labor about the work.
 Carrying out design modifications after consulting Design Engineer and Managers.
 Carry out of inspection of structural fabrication work according to codes and standards.
 Performing welding inspection activity.
 Material Planning & scheduling.
 Piping fabrication and installation.
 Planning and executing the work to achieve the Target as planned.
 Responsible for Analyzing and solving problems for smooth execution of plans.
 Ensure compliance with Safety Standards.

I started my professional career with EL SEIF Engineering and Contracting Co, as Mechanical Engineer. EL SEIF Group is a conglomerate of companies that for decades has served as a premier service provider to the Saudi business community, including the defense and security sectors and is now ranked among the top Saudi Construction Companies and has executed a great number of projects in the fields of Construction, Maintenance and Operation. Here my work was to coordinate in their projects for bidding, estimation and analyze problems. I work on the assigned projects; then send the proposals to the Saudi head quarters.
