• Administration of AIX Logical Volume Manager:
• Create, Modify file systems, Logical & Physical Volumes, Volume Group
• Mirroring and Un-mirroring of volume groups, using hot spare Physical Volume
• Export and Import non rootvg volume groups
• Migration of Logical volumes across PVs in same VG, Copy LVs between VGs
• Perform following tasks under Administration of AIX filesystem:
• Create/modify/Allocate JFS/JFS2 filesystems and Log Devices respectively
• Check and Repair File system super-block with fsck, dd
• User, Group and related system files administration
• Creation, Deletion & distribution of Paging space across multiple PVs.
• Monitoring and reporting system problem
